I bought this to have a good 4k monitor, I play games and I have a desire for better pictures than the old 1080p monitor I had.
Visually this monitor is fantastic. The thing that has me waffling about returning it is the speakers, they are tinny and rattle. Just poor sound quality compared to a Samsung TV. I didn’t expect that.
I have 3 Samsung TV’s and they are look and sound great… but this monitor just sounds bad.

This monitor is an awesome improvement of my ability to make music on my DAW. I can have multiple plugins open on the screen with great resolution. BTW, it also allows me to view certain streaming services in standalone mode (i.e., with the PC turned off). The price was awsome too.

-the price was too low
-there has to be a concern about refresh rate or resolution
-it was literally a third of what I paid for the LG that needed a replacement
I’m thrilled to reveal this Samsung 43″ is just as good — if not better — and on every level…

Screen works very well. Added this to my 3-monitor setup, with this being in the middle due to it’s 43″ size. I enjoy the compact base, allowing me to push the monitor further back on my L-shaped desk. Screen does have a slightly glossy finish, but it’s not too bad even when in direct alignment with the sun coming from my window.

I made the mistake of purchasing online and what I received was a whole different Monitor… now, 3 months and many phone calls later, still no resolution…. I use it for dual screen for my computer and works flawlessly.
Samsung remote easy to use and charges quickly with Type C.

This is such a cool monitor/tv combo. Very sharp resolution, and easy to hook up and navigate. It looks huge for about a minute, and then you wonder why you didn’t get a screen this large much sooner.

Not sure, if its the fault of the monitor or best buy, but the package arrived in a horrible condition. Maybe that was the reason the display didn’t turn on. I had to take it to the nearby store to return it, which was a hassle in itself.

I bought this monitor while I was out of town since I got tired of playing on the tv at my airbnb. Hand down best bang for your buck! You get the best of both worlds with this as a computer or gaming monitor like what I use it for or you can even use it as a tv since it has streaming capabilities like a normal Samsung tv! The hdr for gaming is amazing with no scream tear and amazing graphics for the price. Just adjust the setting to your preferences and ban your locked in with no lag from controller to screen. 10/10 in my book. Definitely look into this monitor if you want the best of 3 worlds !

The screen holds great real estate allowing me to work on more apps at one time without having to toggle as much.
To top it off, it comes with bells and whistles. It becomes a great entertainment device, allowing streaming services.
I have a PC but it’s cool that it can stand alone with just internet as PC.
It’s hard to get another monitor when it doesn’t offer the same features. Best of all, it doesn’t break the bank with a good price.

Purchased this mainly for my workstation, not for TV-usage. It comes with a lot of bell and whistles, which is great for TV-usage, but for Monitor-usage is a bit overdone and is making functioning complicated, i.e. always reminding me do i want to use the TV-mode when i am shutting down. Therefore, my advice is if you want to buy a monitor that’s solely for work, buy the one that is solely for this functionality (not the dual-functionality one).

The display is honestly pretty bad, but it’s still a 4k 43″ monitor for $300-400. If you only have $400 to spend on a monitor, this is an AMAZING option (unless you play competitive games).
Story games are perfect for this, as the input delay isn’t terrible, it just feels a bit sloppy if you’re playing against other humans in a competitive game.
But really the screen quality is pretty bad. Like it’s 4k so it’s sharp, even at 43″, but there is some really bad ghosting and the viewing angles aren’t great (acceptable though for sure).
If you have more money to spend, get a higher end monitor, it’ll be worth the extra money.
I didn’t have extra money, and I’m very pleased with just the fact that it’s a massive 43″ monitor with nice sharp text.
