Installed myself, really like the optns. does a great job. Is very quiet… Was a little confused when got up the next They and door was open after doing a lot of dishes, dishes didn’t know. It opened to keep the dishes from water responding

I purchased this dishwasher in December of 2022 and enjoyed 10 months of dependable and quiet performance. However, after these months the upper spray arm broke. A plastic part that clips the arm onto the middle rack became stretched causing the arm to fall down into the dishwasher with every use. The Geek Squad installed a replacement arm that broke, again, in less than a day. I tried to use the one-year warranty with Samsung, but my dealings with Samsung have been a disaster. Today I spent 20 minutes on the phone with an agent to generate a repair ticket, but the links that the agent sent don’t work. First, a page reported that my machine was out of warranty (I previously provided Samsung with a copy of the Best Buy receipt), then a page listed the wrong symptom and provided no way for me to explain or confirm the problem, and then the next page wanted me to pay $365 for service. I followed up with the agent who sent me another link that was no more helpful. I sent additional texts, but they have not been answered. Between the unsuccessful attempt by Best Buy’s Geek Squad (with a repair person who was completely unfamiliar with this model) and the spectacular indifference or antipathy that Samsung has towards its customers, I very much regret this purchase. Do NOT buy this dishwasher (I think that the design of the spray arm is faulty) and be very wary of Samsung. If you think you ever will need product support, do NOT buy a Samsung product.

After owning this dishwasher for about a year the front door started to leak water onto my floor. I have to put a tray under the dishwasher door to catch the leaking water (see photo). If you plan on buying this unit then you MUST get an extended warranty.

Definitely quiet, and efficient but they forgot about the left rear corner. The dishwasher simply does not get the left rear corner on any rack remotely clean. I wish that I had done more research on this purchase.

This dishwasher worked fine, but shortly after 2 years of use it stopped working. Samsung only warranties it’s parts at that point and wanted to charge a minimum of $389 for someone to come out and see if they could fix it (no guarantee). Would not recommend any Samsung product!! 3 out of 6 appliances for our new home, have been replaced or are defective.

This might be the worst dishwasher – that doesn’t wash dishes. Some portion of dishes from every load is not clean, esp the lower level. The upper rack is so finicky it gets hung up all of the time. Might be my worst appliance purchase ever.

Ater 6 months of use, the dishwasher nolonger cleans the dishes on the bottom rack. Samsung offers very little information on how to resolve the issue, I believe it has something to do with the design of the bottom water vane not functioning properly. Tried to find an appliance repai=r shop here in New Bern, NC but nobody works on Samsung’s. Very dissatisfied with Samsung appliances……..had several issues with their refigerator and their stove as well.

Washes dishes fine, but the rinse compartment doesn’t include a display so you can’t tell how much is in the unit, or if it needs to be filled. And the racks are a bit flimsy. They don’t roll in and out easily and the utensil section is just a waste. Most the holes aren’t large enough even for table knives. All in all I wish I would have gone up to the next level.

I don’t love this dishwasher. The space between the bottom rack and the top rack is very small, a normal size plate has to be leaned over or the blade will hit. It is very quiet, but I works prefer a deeper bottom rack, I can’t even put pots in the bottom rack because there’s no room.

I was very excited about this dishwasher. After having it for about a year, it gave out. It did not properly clean the dishes, leaving residue and food remnants. Geek squad came out and said that its the motor and theres not much they can do. Please, purchase Bosch or some brand that does not sell TVS as well!

I bought this expensive and quiet model on Dec 2020 for $1k, for years of good service. I knew Samsung wasn’t famous for reliability or ease of repair, but I took a leap of faith anyway. It worked fine (not as clean as we like but it’s okay) until Oct 2023, for 2 years and 10 months. The linear wash component (motor and timing belt that shoots out water at the bottom and redirect it up) broke and won’t move again, resulting in loud noise and unclean dishes.
Since it’s only 1 year warranty, finding repair is cost prohibitive. The part is very expensive (linear motor is $300!) I’ve already spent hundreds of dollars on labor and parts and it’s still not fixed.
I expect at least 5+ years of service before a major repair, in less than 3 years a major breakdown isn’t acceptable. I don’t recommend this dishwasher or any Samsung dishwasher, unless you are willing to bite your own bullet when it breaks down!

Have had for 13 months and this thing is a piece of junk. Was amazing for the first 6 months, but now I have had issues with 2 separate and large pieces just “falling off” and into my dishes.
The cleaning is ok, but not great. Would not buy again.

This is the worst dishwasher we have ever owned. In 4 years we’ve had it, we’ve had multiple leaks, replaced the pump twice. Now we are having to repair/replace the bottom arm for the waterfall wall. The washing, when it’s working is subpar at best.

This dishwasher is very quiet to the point you dont even know if its running or not. I have put many loads through it at this point and it has done a excellent job cleaning everything. I love the self opening feature to let out all the steam. My previoud washer would not do that which would result in wet dishes. I love the addition of the 3rd rack for large utensils. It makes it very easy to load. There are many adjustments that can be made to fit any and most dishes or pots. The hardware to secure the dishwasher was a bit flimsy and bent out of shape on me multiple times. I wish there was a bit more configuration adjustment on the bottom rack tines to allow for bigger or thicker cutting boards.
