    No need to retrace your steps. Simply register a new Galaxy SmartTag2 and get started right away with SmartThings Find. With its intuitive tracking experience, you now have a way to keep track of things you love right in the palm of your hand.¹
  • Search near when it’s not far
    Lose something? Switch on Search Nearby⁶ and get guided instructions to your item’s location via Compass View. ⁷ If you still don’t see it, just ring your Galaxy SmartTag2 to have it send out an audible signal.
  • Help bring your stuff back home
    When Lost Mode⁸ is activated, NFC (Near Field Communication) from Galaxy SmartTag2 will display your registered contact information and a message on the finder’s smartphone, no matter their OS.
  • ¹Requires Samsung Galaxy smartphones or tablets running Android 11.0 or later with 3GB or more of free RAM; user must optin to the SmartThings Find app and be logged in to Samsung Account. Bluetooth range of up to 120m without obstacles;
  • if Galaxy SmartTag2 is out of range, Galaxy Find Network will be used to track (Galaxy Find Network accuracy based on opt-in Galaxy users who are inrange of the SmartTag).
  • ²Consistent with IP67 rating, water resistant in up to 1M (3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes. Rinse residue / dry after wet.
  • ³Through the SmartThings app, allows 2 preset conditions at a time. A preset condition can be either an IoT device or a SmartThings routine.
  • ⁴Expected performance based on typical use with in-box CR2032 battery. Actual battery life may vary depending on different usage patterns, environmental conditions, the replacement battery manufacturer, and other factors.
  • ⁵Non-Power Saving Mode, expected battery life under typical usage conditions is up to 500 days. Power Saving Mode is limited to basic Bluetooth finding functions (for example, Search Nearby signal indicator and map).

    I bought the Smaettag2 to use to track my luggage and it worked well. I was able to track that my luggage was at my destination. I also bought one to keep in my carryon. Next I plan to keep one in my car and on my key ring. I enjoy using this product!

    I recently used this on my dog’s crate while traveling overseas. It worked perfectly to track her movement through the airports as we made our way. I love this little thing. Easy to set up and use as well.

    Not unless you are in the vicinity the tag wont register to the phone. Unless the geek squad person didn’t install it right

    After receding it and following the instructions every step of the way it didn’t work for us. No email verification sent to my email once signed up, my husband and I followed the same steps as instructed and nothing worked. I threw away the box it came in with to return it to the store and have my full refund the same day but no box no refund unfortunately. So sad I lost a few bucks

    SmartTag2 works great! If you have a galaxy phone this one is for you! Better location than the T*le tracker and shows tracking history without extra fees. Much easier to set up and plays well with Alex@.

    I recently bought this on a whim and i couldnt be happier with my purchase. I travel frequently, and it is the best way to ensure your bags get to where theyre going without guessing or panic. Just make sure that when youre not using them, you power save through the app or remove the battery.

    Purchase 2 of these for keeping track of keys and other items that are used in a farm environment. They have been extremely accurate and helpful in keeping track of items.
    The supporting application is very easy to use and make the experience enjoyable.

    Overall this is a simple product and able to track where your personal belongings are. I use it for my car. Only drawback is that it’s not always live and only when the device catches someone’s phone. If you want an actual car tracker get a Bouncie with a subscription. If you don’t want a subscription the smart tag 2 is perfect. I have both with the smart tag2 for a backup.

    Love these smart tags. There is so much they can be used for. They compare favorable to Apple tags. Obviously, putting them in luggage when traveling is the primary use. But hiding them in our vehicles allows for tracking in the event of theft. (I need to ask if my auto insurance provides a discount.) My wife and I can easily know where the other is just by sharing the smart tag on each other’s app.

    I have the original SmartTag+ models (not the regular ones) and this has the best feature about that in an arguably better package. Its a little slimmer, easier to put in something. I havent had it long enough to test battery life, but seems like it will at least be on par with ST+ and last a couple months. I love that this has the UWB finding.

    The ability to track and see its location using your camera helps so much! Its a must buy if you have adhd and misplace keys or wallets!
