My review is based on the fact I picked this up for $130 and its been running great. I had minor issues in the beginning with the windows update. I did some research and found out you have to register for insider program to update windows. For the price i paid it is a super deal. For retail its a decent machine for the price point. It is mostly for surfing web and videos. It will not playing demanding games or video editing. Imagine a android tablet with a built in keyboard. ARM processors are nice and quiet and fast responsive. Display is wonky but you get what you pay for.

Wanted a back-up laptop for emergencies and this more than meets that requirement. The price was unbelievably low for reasonable built quality and Samsung brand. Preferred Snapdragon processor but wasn’t expecting Windows (thought it was a Chromebook). However, it hasn’t shown any slowness because of Windows.

Understand this is an unusual laptop. It’s an ARM based Qualcomm CPU and runs an ARM version of Windows. It came with Windows 10, but you should upgrade it to Windows 11 which is a lot better with ARM compatibility. If you’re running Windows 10 on this, understand that most Windows apps need to be the 32-bit versions to run, or a native ARM version from the Windows store. So people may be confused by software not installing. Upgrade it to 11 and it will be able to install most 64bit Windows software as well (most common these days) but there may still be occasional incompatibilities. The upshot to ARM? This laptop runs more like your phone. Just turn it off when you’re done (don’t shutdown Windows) and it will restart in an instant rather than need to boot. It can get up to 18 hours of battery life in normal use. For BASIC tasks like web, word processing, school and light office work, this computer is great. No, it’s not great for all but the most basic games and no CPU/GPU intensive stuff. For the price, if you need a basic, thin and light laptop with crazy battery life, this is a great deal at the clearance prices. One last thing- it charges via USB-C and most phone chargers can also charge it.

It freezes every time you use it. Ctrl, alt, delete does not work when it does this. You have to shut it down.

The Samsung laptop appears to be more durable than other brands. This particular model is very flexible, so you don’t have to worry about it falling apart like some laptops. Processing speed is standard. Overall, I like this Samsung computer and the charger.

I am delighted with this light, functional Chromebook. I like the speed and the extra memory. I returned a similar priced Windows laptop and have been nothing but pleased by that decision. Thank you, Best Buy, for being so reasonable. I have a larger unit I use for videos, but this is my take everywhere device. If yours works as well as mine, you will be happy with it.

The screen is absolutely abysmal. Can barely open and run chrome. Don’t even bother with more than one window. The whole laptop bends when held by the corner, and creaks like cheap plastic. Battery lasts a week at least.

At the time this computer was $300 which is really expensive for you are receiving. This computer can’t download anything, you can’t download windows 10 and you can’t download gaming clients. Also, The Snapdragon processer is horrible in every single way possible. also 128 GB is a scam I got the computer with 128 but all the files and internal computer files already take up over 60-80 gb. When playing gaming clients, you have to turn your graphics a resolution all the way down to get still a really bad performance. This computer can’t even handle more than 7 tabs open at once. For 300 dollar this computer is a scam I’d rather buy a 300-dollar door than this piece of trash. You’d Rather buy a computer that’s worth 500$ for even more and 5x the proformance.

Samsung Galaxy Book is a great laptop can cost less than many people want to spend on a laptop. It even provides a better experience and last longer than other alternatives. it also has the processing power to play high-end games or handle demanding tasks such as professional video editing or 3D modeling. If you need a cheaper laptop or a more powerful one, check out this and thank me later.

For its price range, its a really good buy if you’re looking to do some light work. Emphasis on light work, this doohickey cannot handle most games on practically any setting. It would definitely get someone through community college but would probably self destruct by university standards.

So I have really mixed feelings about this laptop. It’s sleek, looks awesome, superlight weight and it does not over heat! I can put it on my bed the couch and it keeps cool as a cucumber. Love that. Operating system runs smooth, haven’t had any software issues. The price was right too! The only thing is the touchpad. It doesn’t work well and I have to re scroll/click all the time! Everyone that uses my laptop complains about it. That’s the only gripe I have. I desperately want to give this laptop a 4 star review because other than that it’s pretty sweet… but that’s such an integral part of the laptop and makes daily use so frustrating. Ultimately, if you’re on a budget and in the market for a new laptop like I was, it’ll do.
