    This hood extension was definitely long enough for our kitchen and our contractor cut it to size to fit to our roof. The Samsung hood that originally came with our 36″ range hood Model #SSNK36K7000WS did not include a hood that was long enough for our kitchen so we had to buy this separately. It would be excellent if it muffled the sound of the exhaust better on medium and high setting (it is really loud!). The only one that has sound that may be softer than an hair dryer is the low setting.

    Good product to run the extension of air duct for the hood inside the extension. And hide the wires inside.

    Love that they offer this option because we have tall ceilings and we had to extend to the top and a standard size would not fit.

    I would have liked it to be a single piece that can be adjusted and not two pieces separately, of good material but beware of the tape that protects it, it is very difficult to remove
