    I have replaced my kitchen and laundry appliances with the Smart Samsung Black Stainless Steel appliances. I love them. They do function as promised and looks great. BUTTTTTT, when it came to my hood vent extension (which is what is in question). For one I was surprised with how expensive this thing was, but oh well, it was a necessary evil… yes I purchased it!!! It look several weeks to arrive, and when I got it I could not get it installed because it is missing parts. Neither the hood or the hood extension came with the “Bracket” and “the screws”. I have called both Samsung and Best Buy and no one has been able to assist me with the purchase of these fundamental items required for the installation of hood that should be there to begging with… so yes, I am very frustrated.

    Nice thought, but not designed to be used in conjunction with the hood extension which comes with the basic order. Needed 12 feet from this plus the two which came with the basic model to reach 14 foot ceiling height. The Extention kit was not designed with work with the standard vent cover, resulting in it having to be cut down by installer. Not happy with how this all worked.

    I purchased the hood and it came with one chimney and didn’t have a real use for this item. Therefore, I returned it because my ceiling was the perfect height.

    Way too expensive for this hood extension. Would never buy unless we had to.

    Sucks that Samsung doesn’t make a smaller attachment and that u pay of a 1000 for hood range and another 600 for a chimney ext
    They don’t make it affordable and it scratches easy if not careful also doesn’t come w the clips or screws to connect smh
