    DRUM HAS CRACKED TWICE. THEY ARE COMING OUT TO LOOK AT IT THURSDAY. FIRST TECH SAID HE HAD NOT SEEN A CRACKED DRUM IN OVER 15 YEARS. HOPING THEY REPLACE THE DRYER.

    Great dryer overall – although the steam cycles and ‘Sensor Dry” functions need improvement… Any of the automatic cycles where the dryer is supposed to sense when the load is dry, the load remains damp upon cycle completion. The only cycle that we’ve found to work is the “timed dry” cycle for 1 hour (or less, depending on load) with the “Eco Dry” setting turned “off” (which is NOT eco friendly and is adverse to the point of buying this dryer…” The steam cycles, such as the cycle to remove wrinkles, leave the load with wrinkles… after further research done after purchasing this dryer, I would have bought a different one all together.

    Been only 8 months and an error code popped up “dc” and its been hell to get someone to repair the issue. Haven’t been able to dry any clothes due to this code. Paid for the 5 yr Geek squad warranty and they cant help until the factory warranty expires..

    Heater died just a little after a year into having the machine. Thankfully I have the protection plan but what a nightmare.

    Huge capacity. Sensors mean it keeps on drying if it notices the laundry is still damp so you don’t end up wasting time or having damp laundry sitting overnight

    We love the dryer. Easy to use, plenty of cycles to choose from (although we don’t have the steam option; I guess I didn’t realize I had to order it separately). In any case, I should disclose that we’ve had it only since 10/2020 and today (4/29/22) I had to spend $247 to replace the heating element. At least the new part has a five-year warranty!

    Im not a big fan of this dryer. It has a moisture sensor which causes the dryer to stop when it no longer senses dampness. However sometimes my jeans and bedding are not completely dry. No matter what I do it does not dry completly. If you are thinking about this one just pass it by

    Do not buy this dryer, it isn’t very pleasant. We have to put clothes through multiple regular cycles to get them dry. I wish I had sent it back right away.

    Our heater assembly broke after two years. Almost $500 to replace with instillation. If you’re going to buy any Samsung products make sure you purchase The Geek Squad, you’ll need it!

    Worst Dryer we have ever owned. It lasted 17 months. It no longer dries and it vibrates likes its about to take off.

    Purchased in 2019 with matching washer. Takes 4ever to dry… blankets etc. Plan on 2 1hour cycles. Stopped working in May of 2021, the repairman replaced pretty much everything. August of 2021 the washer went haywire, replaced motherboard etc…
    Luckily I had the extended warranty but that ended in May, its now October 1st. & the washer is not functioning properly again. Sometimes it will go in a wash cycle, never a rinse.
    They’re just expensive junk. So disappointed in Samsung appliances.

    Purhcased the Samsung Electric Washer/Dryer combo back in Sept 2019, its now November 2022 and it works just as good. I know some Samsung products get a bad rep but so far so good.

    This dryer is on of the worse purchases I’ve ever bought. We’ve only had it for 2 years and already have to replace it. Some how there is a huge crack inside the dryer and now it shakes, makes loud noises, and smells burnt when turned on even with one item inside. I’ve had dryers in the past to last 10 plus years and have never had one crack. Definitely built with poor material. In addition, during the first year sometimes you would have to dry things twice. Do yourself a favor and save your money.

    Dies after 4 years and was 750$ to repair. Lame. Heating element stopped working. And repair cost more than new dryer. Never worked great anyways. Plastic cars cracked and took multi attempts to dry.
