I loved this monitor. I think I may have moved into a place with faulty wiring and it messed it up when I plugged it in but I used it for several years and thought it was a great monitor for what I used it for. I am a videographer and film in 4k so this was great for editing.

The 32″ Viewfinity is a gorgeous monitor…. When it actually works correctly.
Samsung delivered on a 4k image, the monitor out of the box is too dark but with some tinkering in the monitors settings the brightness can be fixed delivering a much better image.
Where this monitor has its problems is everywhere else. The monitor has a hard time displaying varying degrees of color. Something typically seen in movies or if you are using a windowed tab. When this scenario is presented the monitor starts to flicker the image doesn’t flicker but the brightness does. It gets worse with more contrasting images are on the screen.
The other issue is this monitor doesn’t like going to sleep and when it does it has a hard time waking up. Using the display with my Mac mini M1 on the Display port and a PS5 on the HDMI port. I noticed when both devices are in rest mode/sleep, the monitor keeps trying to detect a device connected saying it will shut off in 3 seconds if nothing is detected. The monitor does shut off, and turns back on a while after that threatening once again that if nothing is detected it will turn back off.
Eventually it does turn off, when you come back maybe the next day the monitor input (buttons) are unresponsive. I found myself often having to mash the power button really fast like a Quick time event on a game. Sometimes it would turn on and immediately shut off not detecting that the device it was connected to was already on.
Due to those headaches I can’t recommend this monitor. Especially for the price it’s currently listed at. I got a pretty sweet deal on this monitor $200.00 Flat so Im keeping it for now. Adding on the fact that it only has 1 HDMI port, 1 Display port connection and no other inputs this monitor is outdated and a mess to deal with.
Only buy this open box, on a deep sale. Otherwise save another $200$ and purchase the Samsung M8, just be cautious as there are multiple versions of that monitor and they’re all around the same price. Do your research.

I had this for a week but ended up exchanging it for the Acer XB323QK. The Samsung actually had slightly better sharpness than the Acer (VA vs. IPS panel I suspect), but in the end I couldn’t live with the color space of the Samsung. No matter how I adjusted the settings, the colors always appears somewhat washed out. If color accuracy is important to you, this monitor will disappoint.

Called Samsung tech service for information on leaving monitor in sleep mode vs. turning it off. Tech support said to turn off when not in use for long periods of time. Problem was no way of actually turning off. Samsung tech was aware of this and said to unplug monitor when not in use.

I was excited to start using my new monitor, but my excitement quickly vanished. It took me a long time to figure out how to assemble the stand – the manual is so poorly written. I connected it to my PC and then I saw how dim it was. I spent a good amount of time playing with all the settings, but the monitor remained dark and the colors very dull.
When buying a Samsung product, I expect a certain quality. Given how terrible the manual was written and how bad the picture looks, I am stunned Samsung would put their name on this.

The monitor does what I desired, larger display and 4k with 60 Hz refresh rate compared to my old 23″ Samsung. I had to update my HP computer with a new graphics card to get this result.
I subtracted one star for a ridiculous ON/OFF switch arrangement at the bottom of the monitor. It is one of 5 little pimples arranged on an 18 mm circle. You have to fumble with your finger to find the correct one to turn ON the monitor. To turn it OFF requires more feeling around and takes 3 steps. Very cumbersome! My old 23″ Samsung had a super one-touch ON/OFF switch.
I subtracted one more star for a VERY stiff change in the tilt of the monitor. Also -2 degrees is not enough for a forward tilt.

I was hesitant getting rid of my two 27″ monitors and moving to one 32″ but it was the right choice. It is almost always in split screen with a spreadsheet or email on one side and browser open on the other side. Lots of room and reading and working is easy with this set-up.
