    The oven has been disappointing. The oven doesn’t work as well as we had hoped. We had a double oven before and had hoped this would be just as good if not better but food doesn’t cook right.

    You’ll be sold by the features, but six months in you’ll have problems. I usually read all of the reviews of a product before purchasing; however, I must have missed the primary fault with this system three-six months after installation. Like everyone else I began receiving a CA2 fault (mine was after month eight). Contacted SAMSUNG who sent out Cone (horrible reviews) and was informed that the unit needs to come out of the wall, and they don’t uninstall.

    Used the self clean and it locked the oven up for two days. Oven wasn’t dirty but just a test. Now the chrome inside is tarnished and looks like I’ve had the unit for years. Unbelievable.

    Save yourself the time and heartache.

    This is a great oven. It is a little hard to remember all the settings and where they are. Like I know there is a melt chocolate setting but can never remember which setting it is under. I recommend reading the owner’s manual.

    Love this oven’s features. Can be used as three ovens when necessary which is really convenient at holiday time. The finish always looks clean. I’ve learned to love the convection cooking feature. Would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that the clock sometimes resets to a random time. Hoping to get this problem fixed under warranty.

    The two stars are for the oven…the upper microwave portion has been a BITTER disappointment. The control modules have ALL been replaced twice and are about to be replaces a third time. GeekSquad has dispatched for FOUR visits to repair. (Two requiring followup because the controls need to be ordered.) The microwave will stop running mid heating(on its own). Knobs can be turned to OFF and the microwave continues to run…the timing countdown mechanism will stop working while the microwave is running, and sometimes the microwave runs while the countdown is frozen. Definitely would NOT recommend this SAMSUNG product. And I would not venture to say I am happy with the GeekSquad service either.

    Wish it could display the time at all times. Display has “screen saver mode” when set up, it only displays the time for 60 minutes max.
    Once the 60 minutes expire, the display goes dark.
    Perhaps a software upgrade will make that happen 🙂

    I love my microwave convection oven/wall oven combo–I just wish that I had one that would actually work!!! My first unit had computer glitches that would freeze the touch screen requiring the breaker to be switched in order to reset. After every component was replaced to no avail, Samsung agreed for an exchange. Our second unit worked, however, the oven door was faulty and we had to again exchange our unit. This third unit has a dysfunctional heating element in the microwave/convection oven; nothing heats. Fingers crossed for unit #4…

    I am very disappointed with Samsung and Best Buy. I bought a suite of Samsung appliances (refrigerator, induction cook top, hood, dishwasher and wall oven.) I had t=now for about three months and had the dishwasher replace 3 times, cook top twice, oven twice and refrigerator twice. I have the extended warranty but that does not help. The cook top and wall over have the same problems as the original units. No way to escalate and get these problems fixed. Samsung and Best Buy do not care about you after the sale is complete.

    First off, I think this combination oven/microwave is great when it works. I’ve had to call a local service tech twice out of warranty. First was a burnt wire internally due to a design flaw and the other was loose hardware in the doors. I’ve called Samsung about these issues and was told that I would have to pay for service. So, almost two years in, and have paid about $600 in service calls.

    Oh…did I mention the constant reboot of the screen. In the middle of cooking and then the system will crash and reboot. If you turn off wifi to the device it seems to help, but then your clock will not keep accurate time. In two weeks your time can be off by 10 minutes. How can any modern electronic device not keep time?

    Paying this much for an appliance with zero support after a year from Samsung is just ridiculous. I would move on to another brand. There are other more reliable alternatives.

    We bought the stainless version of this on 11/16/17. Within the first year, the unit would freeze up from time to time, for about 5 to 10 minutes and then start working again. A little over a year later one of the boards had to be replaced to correct the issue. It took the service guy a couple of trips, but it finally was working. Samsung did a good faith warranty on the labor because it was little over a year when we called, but we had to pay for the part.

    The WIFI would not connect and never have been able to get it to do that.

    Now an error code comes up C-A2. After reading NUMEROUS blogs on this I found out this is one of the most common error codes. I purchased the Samsung Technicians guide and went through all the steps. Replaced both cooling fan motors and sensors and then replaced the main board (last option in the tech repair guide) and still have the code.

    I have 2 fridges by Samsung and neither ice maker works and that too is VERY frustrating. I WILL NEVER BY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES AGAIN!!!!!

    The control screen does not work properly. The device stops every period while preparing food. It stops due to high temperature. Factory defects inside the oven.

    This is the worst line of appliances. We have a Samsung oven-micro combo from Best Buy and it still stays on when the microwave door is open. We’ve had Geek Squad out 5 times… yes… 5…. been to the store 3 times now and it still doesn’t work. Some advice … DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG appliances. We also have issues with the ice maker on the refrigerator which turns out to be a recall on.

    Looks very nice, had problems with the delivery and the installation, but Jim from Best Buy corrected the Geek Squads goof ups. When you set the timers you leave fingerprints on the numbers you pushed, I’m constantly wiping the glass screen off. But there’s always minor things that you’re not happy with. The color on the inside is horrible, now that I HATE! But over n all I’m satisfied with my 4500.00 wall oven/microwave. Oh BTW, if the microwave goes out you will have to get a complete new unit, you can’t just replace the microwave. I took out the 5 year warranty on this appliance. I’m hoping and praying this unit will last for many years.

    Our first delivery was scheduled for July 2nd. On July 1st our delivery got canceled due to unavailability. It was then rescheduled for July 24th. This 2nd delivery was also canceled. We are now scheduled for August 31st. The rest of our kitchen project is finished and now our contractor will have to try to fit us into his booked schedule to install this…if it ever comes in. We are very disappointed with the broken promises of delivery!
    This review is for availability and not the product. If/when we ever receive it I will review the actual product.

    A little glitchy. Oven screen has frozen on a couple occasions, rendering my oven inoperable for a couple minutes (until it resets). Also, have been unable to connect the smart feature, to date. Have made multiple attempts to connect, all it does is kick the oven off the wifi connection. This means I can’t control my oven remotely

    This thing is amazing so far! This thing is so intuitive and the preset cooking menus are spot on. My first test was a frozen hamburger in the microwave to see what it can do. Cooked it perfectly in 9 mins. Seared it and everything. I can’t wait to start cooking some actual food in this thing.

    2nd time that the microwave has stopped working. We’ve owned this Combo Wall Oven for 3 years and 3 months. The microwave stopped working after 2 years and 9 months and now it’s stopped working again. The process to get this repaired is painful. I regret purchasing a combo unit and wish we had separate unit so that I could more easily replace a microwave rather than have to pay $400+ for each repair. The unit is out of warranty. I’m just hoping that the board that was fried again is under a warranty since it only worked for 6 months. That’s a $126 part. Also, please note, that we are two adult household and do not have children, so our microwave use is most likely below normal use.

    I had this oven for 2 years and 1 week. The first time and only time I used the self clean option was a week ago. It burnt the entire unit and it is useless now. Samsung won’t cover anything since it’s 1 year out of warranty. Biggest mistake of my life. Could have burnt my house down.

    DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!!!!
    I do not recommend Samsung at all. I bought all new kitchen appliances, all Samsung. One year after owning, freezer stopped making ice. Common issue with all their fridges & they have not come up with a solution. Three years later my $3.8k wall in microwave/oven combo breaks. The control panel died & Samsung is no longer making the part nor do they have an alternative replacement part. Due to being beyond their 1 year warranty, I am out of luck! They did not offer any reimbursement or alternative in any way. You are basically stuck buying a new unit! If you don’t buy an extended warranty with Best Buy, you are out thousands of dollars! Pathetic!

    This combo is software driven, and the software FREEZES very often when using the microwave. When it freezes, you need to turn it off and let it reset before you can use it.

    Also, the oven will shut off thinking there is a temperature probe inserted, when there isn’t. Once it is in this mode, the oven is unusable until it resets.

    Another downfall of this (and each of the other Samsung black stainless appliances that I bought) is that the “black stainless” coating comes off and you see sections of true stainless under. I was not made aware that black stainless is just a plastic coating over stainless.

    I have had nothing but problems with this unit. Its 3 years old now and have had multiple service calls since new. It has been down for 8 weeks this last time it broke, and now no service providers in our area will work on it. Even though I bought the extended warranty I can’t get an answer on how this is going to get fixed or replaced.

    The combination oven looks great in my kitchen (black stainless finish is a nice contrast to my maple cabinets) and has many useful functions. I’ve had it for about one month, so I haven’t tried all of the features yet (such as steam in the oven, or two zones in the oven.) The instruction manual is lengthy, but the control knobs and screen are actually quite intuitive, so you will be up to speed quickly.

    Best Buy, you need to stop selling these product. We bought 6 appliances in 2019 and 3 have failed since 2022 (after 3 year Geek Squad expired), one dangerously failed
    23″ cu. ft. Counter Depth 4-Door French Door Refrigerator: ice maker failed, and ices up completely if left on.
    30″ Smart Single Wall Oven with Flex Duo: Will not stop heating if you turn it on and caused a small fire that was luckily caught quickly. This was most recent failure Dec 2023.
    30″ Smart Microwave Combination Wall Oven: Temperature will start to go down once it “clicks” at desired temp, and you must adjust heat up or down to have oven start heating again.
    The fridge we wasted $$$ on with out-of-warranty repairs that never fixed issue. A web search will show that these issues are common for these appliances and repairs are a mixed bag.
