No high-pitched sounds coming from my monitor like many of these other reviewers. Brightness is great once you turn off the eco mode. Matches my laptop well. Steal!

It is a good monitor, especially after adjusting the Eco settings as mentioned by other reviewers. Nice picture quality. Video and USB data work as expected with just the provided USB-C cable connected to my Mac Mini 2018.
However, the warranty is only 1 year, not 3 years as stated on the product page here, the Samsung product page, and the documentation that comes with the monitor. I have confirmed this after registering the monitor on the Samsung website and multiple conversations with Samsung Support via live chat and phone. They refuse to honor the 3 year warranty period, despite it being specified as such in the documentation they provide with the monitor, and try referring me to Best Buy.
I still think it is a good value for a UHD monitor with USB-C, but a 3 year warranty would be nicer.

My favorite part is that it has a type-c connector that doesn’t just act as a display port, but also as a usb hub, and also charges your laptop!

LOVE this monitor! I’m using it for work, however needed a monitor that could also have a higher resolution when doing graphic design and this one is phenomenal! It’s a close match to my Mac laptop screen in resolution, so having the 2 side by side doesn’t bother my eyes as my old monitor would. Also, being able to easily change the screen to warm undertone when I feel the bright blue/white monitor light is bothersome is a very convenient feature, especially when staring at my screen for 6-8hrs a day!

Had a horrible ringing noise when opened and plugged in. Tried switching cable ports around and didn’t help. Beautiful monitor with great accessibility but this high pitch ringing is unbearable.

The monitor itself is great! great quality and it has everything I was looking for, It would be perfect BUT… the is a strong high pitch noise coming from the back of the monitor where the USP plugs are. I bought 2 of these monitors and both emit the same noise. It is not super loud, but loud enough to be very disturbing if you work in a quite environment.
Unfortunately I will return both monitor for this problem.
I do recommend this monitor for office work, where typically there is already some white/background noise.
I do not recommend this monitor if, like me, you work from home in a quite and silent environment where such noise becomes very audible).
I’m really sorry about this issue because I do really like the monitors but this “little” detail makes them uncomfortable to use so I will need to return. What a bummer that I need to return the monitor for something so secondary as USB plugs

Good monitor for the money. Picture looks great. No speakers, just a headphone out plug that can be fed from USB or HDMI. No remote. Controls on bottom face, so you can’t see them when using. Would buy again.

I use this monitor with a MacBook Pro. The USB-C capabilities sufficiently power my computer. I’ve also got a USB webcam plugged into the back of the monitor, which also works great. So, just one power cable to the monitor, a USB webcam plugged into the monitor, and one USB-C cable from the monitor to the MacBook.

Screen looks great with my MacBook Pro (connected using USB-C). Brightness level was a problem for me until I turned off the “Eco Sensor Mode” at the bottom of the System menu.

I bought this as a second screen for design work and the screen resolution and brightness is extremely too dark. Even with the brightness turned all the way up it’s too dark to be useful.
It also has connectivity issues. It randomly disconnects while you use it and when you computer goes to sleep you have to unplug and reconnect for it to work again.
Very disappointing from Samsung.

I needed a second monitor for gaming and thought this was a good fit. At first, I was really happy with it until I couldn’t adjust the monitor height and was having issues with the brightness. So I looked up everything about this monitor in hopes there was an easy fix. Maybe it was my computer or something with the HDMI cable. It still wasn’t enough. I decided to ignore it because maybe that’s how the monitor was supposed to be. Then my screen started glitching, I wasn’t worried about it because I have an ACER monitor (that has been working perfectly for the past 3 years) I can use and I put the less important browsers and whatnot on this screen. I have connected both my pc and my ps5 with different cords and it still was doing the same thing. However, I am now working from home and have to use it for important work. I am so disappointed in how this monitor runs. I will be getting a new monitor that actually works.

I got it for two days so far, connects to everything pretty well; tested it with my PC and my laptop
I do notice the humming in the background, now that I have read other people’s reviews, but I don’t think it is too noticeable in my opinion.
My main complaint I have to say, would be the audio input; my PC does not have a place to put audio as of right now, so I was testing my earbuds and my speaker to the audio input, and it is noticeably spotty. I’m not sure if people just don’t use the audio input a lot or if this is my case specifically, but it is something to note, and as a person who likes to watch a lot of media, I can’t say I particularly enjoy it.

It has a really pretty picture. The monitor itself is very nice to look at. I wish the controls were better; the dial to change the settings should be on the back. It would make it easier to see when trying to make changes.
I would recommend it and would buy it again.

The picture and color is great and it worked perfectly… just until it was out of warranty. It started literally turning off for 1-3 seconds randomly while I am playing Xbox on it. This could happen every minute or two, or just a couple of times, or not at all… no way to tell how the motnitor felt that day. I troubleshot with Samsung tech support, bought a new power cord, and still does it. It works great for work purposes with my laptop though… go figure. I just bought a new second monitor for my Xbox – this monitor isn’t fast enough (60hz) anyway for game play.
