Samsung has a major issue with their product. The ice maker will freeze with condensation, the water line will drip and the ice crushes when cubed is selected. We are on our 2nd service call, we have geek squad protection, and instead of them just allowing us to swap to a different brand, they want to circumvent the issue and send a tech out to keep fixing a known issue with this brand.
Geek squad is a joke, and with how much money my wife and I spent on this fridge and also spend at Best Buy, we will be taking our business elsewhere on future purchases.

Back Story: My spouse and I are building a house and we need appliances but to cut costs we decided to purchase an open box fridge that had a few cosmetic defects. We thought it’s a fridge, we can put magnets on the minor defects and anyways it’s what’s on the inside that counts. The BB sales rep , David, assured us it would work like new. Little did we know that frame of mind would haunt us. (Fridge purchased on January 5th)
Fast forward to March 6th. We finally connect the fridge and wait the 24 hrs as instructed from the manual for it to cool. March 7th Fridge is registering 79 degrees farenheit and freezer reading 80 farenheit. Call Samsung support, Shakira answers the phone (her real name and she was amazing to speak with) instructs me to unplug for 5 min and plug in and wait two hours. Nada. I schedule a Samsung warranty care and the Tech arrived today March 12th. He opens it up and states that the sealed system has a leak. He has to call Samsung have another tech come out and fixed the sealed system because it appeared some other yahoo had previously worked on the system and the fridge was not up to par.

It’s good that I didn’t purchase the counter depth but standard depth . With the standard depth itself I feel I am restricted with space , if you shop mostly at wholesale clubs like me .
Couple of things to notice the refrigerator support Samsung smart things and has wifi support , but the process to connect is awful. Nothing much other than door open close forgot to close, filter change . Less space on the right door . Catch a lot of fingerprint

This has to be one of the worst refrigerators. I was warned by several people that owned one that the ice maker always freezes up and doesn’t work. That is the truth. When I asked the sales person If that was true before I bought it he said that they made improvements on the newer models. I would definitely not recommend any of the Samsung appliances. I purchased the refrigerator, microwave, stove and dishwasher. Complete waist of money. My old appliances that were 15+ years old worked better than my new ones. My refrigerator is not even a year old and stopped working in March.

Nothing but good things to say about this fridge so far. We’ve had it for about a month. The lighting inside is great, we like the flex option, the controls are easy to use, and set up was easy.

We really liked the layout and adaptability of this refrigerator. The flex zone is a very nice feature. Unfortunately, two years and one month after purchasing this refrigerator it stopped working completely. We had purchased the Geek squad extended warranty after reading reviews and seeing that almost all modern refrigerators have reliability problems. It is now almost 4 weeks and our refrigerator is still not repaired and we are looking at over a week more before parts will arrive. Hopefully they will be the right parts this time. To be fair, a one week delay was due our being out of town for a preplanned trip, however if Best Buy had been able to get someone to come out within the first two days we would not have had to wait that extra week. Very disappointed with the warranty service.

Delivery took longer than expected, due to Covid, but went smoothly. Set up was pretty quick. The feature I love most is the bottom section that can be used for freezer or cooling!

We love having the four zones. The one bottom right can be changed into a fridge/wine cooler/freezer which has been great for entertaining.
The ice machine works unlike the more expensive unit we switched from.
This fridge would have been a 4-5 review until about a month ago. The channel used to create the extra seal when you close the door is faulty and just broke after just normal use. We only have adults in our household, so I can only imagine how fast this could have broke if we still had kids in the house.
Overall, yes it’s a fridge, and it does what a fridge is supposed to do, however the damage after not even a year of ownership has turned this 4-5 star fridge to a 2 star fridge. This is our second, and most likely our last Samsung fridge in just 3 years. It may also be our last Samsung appliance moving forward. They should stick to Tv’s and Phones because those have been amazing for us!

Loved the look of this refrigerator, but the icemaker is TRASH. For me a functional icemaker is a must. Since six months after purchase I have had to have the icemaker serviced and several components replaced 4-5 times. The icemaker freezes solid and won’t make ice at all or leaks water from melting ice inside and through the dispenser. BEST BUY won’t replace unit even with a extended warranty because they consider the icemaker cosmetic and not under warranty. BUYER BEWARE Ice makers don’t work well in the refrigerator and save your money on a extended warranty that considers your icemaker cosmetic. Today Samsung replaced all icemaker components, hopefully this will be the end of my nightmare.

I highly encourage anyone that is thinking of buying this refrigerator to read all the reviews and purchase the longest warranty you can. Maybe you will be lucky and never have an issue or you could be like us.
I absolutely loved this refrigerator and had to have it. You already know all the great things and if you are reading the reviews you have read all the possibilities of what could go wrong.
We made it the first few months with no issues. Then the ice maker went out the first time. A few visits from a tech and it was replaced. A couple of months later and it happened again. This time they shipped an ice maker so it was here for the tech but still took two visits.
Now tonight the freezer light stopped working and the freezer stopped. Called Best Buy and they do not have an appointment available but they can call me back in 24-48 hours to schedule a tech.
Thankfully I have my 20 year old refrigerator in the garage that still works and I can move everything to it for the freezer. I only bought a new refrigerator because we remodeled our kitchen and wanted a larger one with more flexibility.
If I could do it over again would I buy it? Probably not and that was hard to admit. Now I am highly concerned when my 3/year service plan expires.

Match price agent kept telling me we were not getting prices quoted in our local ad. I Had to go to Erie PA 6-28-21 and get it fixed with the store manager. He figured it out before we arrived fixed it. Now you are bombing me with emails that the order keeps changing.
Stop changing my order and deliver my refrigerator #6448510 and wall oven SKU # 6394678 as ordered in our bundle July 4th sale price.
Other items were delivered, range, dishwasher and microwave oven on 6-25-21.

Nice refrigerator. I like the flex zones. However, this is the worst ice maker I’ve ever used. It is enormous, yes produces very little ice. What it does produce takes forever to come out. I would not purchase again based on the ice maker alone. Everything else is fine.

I purchased the Samsung RF28K907OSR/AA refrigerator and was initially pleased with its modern design and features. However, after just a few months of use, the ice maker stopped working. At first, it was just a minor inconvenience, but it quickly became a major issue. I tried all of the troubleshooting tips suggested by Samsung, but nothing worked.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the freezer stopped working altogether shortly after. The temperature would not go below a certain level, even after adjusting the settings. The result was all of my frozen food spoiling, costing me hundreds of dollars in wasted groceries.
I contacted Samsung’s customer service, but they were not helpful in resolving the issues. They offered to send a technician out, but only after I paid for the service call and any necessary repairs.
Overall, I would not recommend the Samsung RF28K907OSR/AA refrigerator to anyone. The ice maker and freezer issues are major design flaws that make this refrigerator not worth the price. Save yourself the headache and invest in a more reliable appliance.

This model has a defect. The ice maker freezes and you have to use blow dryer to melt it so the ice can work. Let the Best Buy feel squad told me to the blow dryer. For the price I paid what a rip off.
