I was in the market for an audio equipment stand and narrowed my choice between the Salamander Designs Archetype and Pangea Vulcan. When checking vendors for pricing and availabilty, I hapened to see the Salamander A3 on the Best Buy site 20% less than everyone else, but the Best Buy item description wasn’t accurate (said it was a TV stand). After confirming the item was indeed the audio stand as pictured on the Best Buy site, I ordered it and received it about a week later. I’m very pleased with the construction (claimed to be made in USA), ease of assembly, aesthetics of the unit, not to mention the price through Best Buy.
