After a bit of a snafu (Best Buy sent us what appeared to be a film screen protector from an Asian flea market – the package literally had an Asian language written all over), then sent us a new replacement.
The screen protector so far appears to be decent quality – we just installed it two days ago. Bubbles are still present, so we’ll give it a few more days before we provide final thoughts.

Screen wasn’t installed correctly, ended up cracking my LCD screen. Would not recommend to anyone unless you know what your doing.

I have used and applied dozens of screen protectors over the years, and trust me when I say this one is BAD BAD BAD. Putting it on is easy and I avoided dust, but huge bubbles abound and you cannot squeeze them out. Plus, there is heavy streaking beneath the glass, and the glass itself sheds a blue blue tint as is very reflective. I’m not sure why Best Buy carries this, but is a cheap mess. Going back.

Disclaimer: I barely applied this screen protector on my Macbook Pro on October 15, it is now the 21st so it’s been 6 days.
This screen protector was a bit difficult for me to apply even with the use of the guide stickers. Even more so, it left a couple of big, noticeable air bubbles.
I should have trusted the reviews posted for this product.

Screen is super clear and doesn’t have any weird shadows/ glare. Glass went on easily and I didn’t have any problems with bubbling or it peeling up in the corners. The screen came packed in a nice cardboard container that wasn’t flimsy (or that poster board material most screens come boxed in). This extra packaging ensured my screen would arrive in mint condition. I am very pleased with this product.

I have had this for a few days, and i still cannot get all of the bubbles out from under the screen protector, the bubbles are not big, but they are there, even though I followed all of the directions.

It seems like it would have fit my laptop perfectly, but the screen protector came completely shattered.

I purchased one of these and was impressed by the quality but was upset that it did not allow my laptop to close even though it shows a picture of a laptop (same as mine) closing. I thought perhaps it was bent slightly and exchanged it for a new one – and the same problem exists. The laptop does not close at all (a good 1/4” at edge) and when you open the laptop, this screen falls off. Definitely not worth even $10 unless you want to carry a flimsy piece of plastic (that will inevitably bend) along separately with your laptop and add it to your screen every time you need to use it.

I would prefer to prevent any future accidents on such a major purchase, then to pay for any issues later. On top of the $200 insurance purchase, I do believe that you would benefit from having a screen protector. Protect your investment.

The screen protector itself works just fine. However, instructions for putting it on weren’t very clear, and we ended up with a lot of air bubbles that were difficult to remove.

First package arrived and when I opened it, the screen protector was shattered. I returned the product and ordered a second, which arrived without incident. I installed the product and realized the tab to protective sheet was missing. While I was removing the protector from my computer to return the product again, the product shattered. Challenging product to work with. Based on my personal experience, i give this a poor rating.
