    Bought it for my iPhone 8 for backup audio recording using a micro mic. But silly me, I lost the 3.5 adaptor so now it’s just collecting dust on the shelf. Borrowed this product few years back and paired it with my iPhone 5. Worked fantastic but now it’s just good for other devices which I don’t own that has a 3.5 jack input. Not worth the $15 price tag though.

    We have been struggling to figure to why our wireless Rode Go microphones didn’t seem to be working on FB live with an iPhone. Found this cable to be one of the keys to at least get the phone to see the microphone. Now the last trick is with FB live you have to plug in the microphone after you start the live event. For people that this isn’t our job or background and just trying to do this for a small club this was a mess to figure out. Glad we found this cable.

    Bought this to adapt Beats Mixr headphones to use with Xbox Series X controller, and it didn’t work. Much advice given that this would be the solution, but it isn’t.

    This is good product for microphone, but don’t believe so for headset.

    Product was solid, just not to solve that problem. Returned.

    If you buy a RØDE VideoMicro On-Camera Cardioid Condenser Microphone, you’ll need to buy this adapter. I’m so glad that I bought my microphone at my local Best Buy store and that the sales clerk told me that I need to purchase adapter. I wouldn’t have known. It would have been nice if it was included with the microphone. But, all in all, this adapter does what it’s supposed to do.

    I mean, there’s not much to say. TRS to TRRS. Lets my Rode / Deity mics work for phones, tablets, etc. wire is a bit thin, but I don’t feel like it’ll break any time soon.

    This is what you need to plug a Rode small shotgun mic into a lightning adapter. This is required. Works well for this purpose.

    This is a simple adapter and it works as promised. However, it is way too expensive for what it is and 3rd party works just as well. I suggest finding a cheaper alternative.

    With the adaptor it ended the chance of the headphone being accidentally hit and damaging the headphone and/or the device it was plugged into. Several of the devices i use do not the
    Bluetooth option so direct connection is my only choice. With the adapter the chance this damage is eliminated.

    There must be a short in this cord because after the third use it has never worked again and I don’t think it’s the device because everyone I know has the same problem. For some reason it won’t connect to my audio.

    This piece of hardware, for as little is asked of it, simply does not perform. Initial test performed with the 3.5mm junction on a laptop. The minispeaker, when connected directly, performed well. With the adapter in the circuit, there was no audible signal, no sound of any kind. Disappointing

    So happy that I found this adapter! Now I can record into my MacBook Pro using the audio jack! I do wish it cost a bit less. The cost of adapters and accessories adds up quickly!

    Didn’t work, no audio comes through this thing. The wire itself is super thin. I originally bought this for use in a situation where I would need an angled 10mm jack. When I needed it this thing just failed.

    Wouldn’t reccomend at all.

    Pretty simple and to the point. It essentially lets you connect your mic to your iPhone’s 3.5mm lightning adapter. Not 5 stars because of it’s price and because the first one I purchased did not work with one mic, but did with the other. A simple no brand version worked with both mics. I called Rode and they had it replaced. Good customer service.

    This SC4 along with the TRS/TRRS was a good setup for me to use with the Rose GO2 wireless mic. From my YouTube research. I purchased these connectors and when setup the Rode to the DJI-RC and flown my drone. I was very excited that it worked without any set backs or issues. It’s was very nice on how it came together the first time. I’m really happy with my toys.
