    I would love to give this a 5, but I can’t. I have bought two of these. The one in my wifes car is dependable and works great providing me with great clarity, however, the one I got for my car keeps resetting the date, to 1/1/21 along with the time. I have followed all the suggestions on their FB page with no results. I even voided the warranty and took it apart to swap out a possible bad battery. That was in vain as it has a super capacitor and not a battery. My only option is to direct wire it to the car battery, which is something I prefer not to do. So it sits on my desk doing nothing for now. BTW, the camera does not work at -10º 🙂

    This is the basic bottom of the line Rexing dashcam. Picture is ok but had issues with the beep/volume control setting. Could not get it to silence. After several failed attempts to resolve the issue and due to poor customer service with Rexing. I ended up buying the upgraded version (V1-4K) It works perfect. So don’t waste your money on the cheaper camera.

    I bought this because I do a LOT of driving. (average 1000 miles a week) I constantly have people pull out in front of me or stopping quickly. The only issue I have is that it would not stick to my windshield.

    Just got a new SUV and had Rexing cameras in my previous car and thought they fit my needs, so I opted for Rexing again. My previous cameras were the next models up from this, but all I wanted was cameras with a nice picture without all the bells and whistles.
    These mount pretty easy. I wanted a front facing / rear facing system, but found it was much easier to buy two of these and wire them independently than have to run a wire from the back camera all the way up to the front unit. The rear camera I have mounted to my rear hatch window in my SUV, with the power wire hidden behind some molding, going down under weather stripping, following it along then plugging into a 12v power plug in. The front camera is hard wired into the fuse box. Make sure your power source turns on and off with starting your car.
    One down side is you have to buy the SD card separately. And seems like Rexing recommends Kingston brand cards.
    For only $50, it’s a good camera.

    This is my second Rexing dash cam, this time for my wife. It is very easy to install and customer service is always there whenever you need them. The reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 is because we are retired so we don’t need the great features of the higher end models. I strongly recommend Rexing.

    Easy to use and configure. I bought it in case I need the video support in an accident… I hope never use it. Seems to be good quality, I haven’t used it yet under hot or cold conditions, I hope it operates correctly. I bought a support with a suction cup so I didn’t need to stuck the camera forever to the windshield, and I can change it to different cars. I recorded some videos while driving and it seems to be of good quality

    Have had 2 other dash and 1 was 90.00 worked a year , Bought a new one for 150.00 still works but wanted rear view . Bought Rexing from Best Buy . Installed it with brightness at 5/3 can’t even see back camera system wont link to Wi-Fi. Emailed Rexing and called message says no tech available, but we will call back within 24 hours that was 5 days ago. This company and service stink. Buy another brand

    I only put a three start because the device was great the first few days. I probably got a defective one. The device keeps turning off on its own, and I have to restart it. Other than that, the picture quality is great, its mounted on my windshield and is holding on strong, I am going to return it only to get the same device. its simple and easy to use.

    I’ve been looking for a good value dash cam for a while now. I finally found one in this. it has good quality is easy to mount controls are simple only thing I wish it had is an accompanying app to easily access recordings without having to take out the SD card.

    A little awkward but it does what it’s supposed to do. You have to make sure you read the directions a few times to get used to programming the unit. Overall, the price point of this unit matches it’s quality and purpose…cheap insurance.

    I bought two of these cameras and they do a great job and they are a great value. They take nice video and overall they are easy to install and get set up I recommend getting the suction cup mount so you could switch them from car to car. You must have a dash cam with all the crazy drivers on the road it will absolutely protect you in the event of an accident.
