    I really enjoyed this product and wish I would have purchased it years ago. This item was a great accessory which provided me additional security and peace of mind when I wasn’t physically in my vehicle and it’s high quality performance helped increase the lifespan of my car battery.

    Not sure if it works, tried to set off the motion sensor but nothing happened. It also has a light but it never turns on

    Not built well bought a attachment to hang from my mirror but one day when I adjusted it the power socket had broken and fell inside cheaply made for the price

    This was installed by Best Buy along with a Rexing M3 camera and both are performing as expected. I don’t think you have to buy this kit for the Rexing M3 (since the power cable and rear camera cables are extremely long) but I did not know that beforehand.

    Nevertheless, this product is working exactly as I need it to.

    I’m not a big fan on how the motion detector works, it literally powers the cameras on and off. I ended up only using the smart wire kit.

    I think this Dash Cam is good. I really don’t have anything to compare it with, but it works with no issues. If I need to review a traffic issue it seems easy to remove the chip and plug it in to my computer.

    I got this installed at a local electronics specialist shop. It works perfectly. I recommend putting the camera G sensor sensitivity on low otherwise the camera will wake up if it rains, and also when a slightly heavy wind hits your car.

    It powers my dashcam properly, however it does cause problems when the motion detection is turned on. The pribkem it caused is that my dashcam stopped recording. I turned the motion detection feature off and it now works again. The problem defeats the purpose of the parking detection festure.

    This product does NOT work for all Rexing dash cams as stated in the description. After accessing the fuse box and neatly hiding and zip tying the entire cable out of sight, after removing pillar covers and the headliner from my wife’s Acura, I got the R4 cameras (front and rear) installed only to attempt to connect it to my hardwire kit, and behold! It’s a different type of connector for the camera. Now I will have to undo everything and spend another day redoing it again. The R4 dash cam usb C is not compatible with this mini USB hardwire kit. The best buy site clearly states that it is compatible with ALL Rexing cams. If they want to consider it usable for all their cams, they should consider adding both cables to the package.

    This is a great device to use for the dash cam in general. It hides the wires so well you barely notice anything. It also allows for the power source to go directly to the battery and not the outlet.
