    i bought two of these. when i mounted the first one , it separated upon pressurization with the sound of an explosion spraying water all over the inside of the refrigerator. the second one worked just fine.

    I was sent an open box/previously opened filter. Previously I was send a new filter, but this time the filter I got had the shrink wrap removed as well as the blue wrap/cover that’s supposed to be on the top of the filter. The filter I got already had the blue wrap removed. I have been happy with the filters I’ve received in the past, just make sure you get one that still has the wrap intact.

    These are quality filters. I like that they weed out 5 of the more common pharmaceuticals. Best Buy’s new subscription program takes the guess work out of it too, they send you a new one every 6 months without having to remember to order it (you still have to pay for it though…can’t have it all!)

    We never placed this on auto ship! It keeps coming. No one from in store , online, or any department related to Best Buy can help me get it off. In fact it doesn’t show up anywhere-

    One positive- if you call it that- is after it’s been charged to my account- since I have WAY too many – I am able to take it to store and get it accounted back to my account/

    the problem with that is the closest Best Buy is 10 miles and off my beaten path-

    So make sure when you purchase something it is accounted for properly- if you never wanted to order it to autoship MAKE SURE you identify that from very first order

    I purchased a GE Smartwater filter and installed it on my refrigerator. However, after pouring approximately 2 cups of water, the flow rate drastically slows down to the point of almost stopping. I placed the filter in the refrigerator, and it’s less than 10 days old. Despite uninstalling and reinstalling it, I haven’t observed any improvement.
