Tried couple from other brands, this is best one. Less noise and option to change the mist level along with type(cool/warm).
Filling water is little difficult and have to fill every alternate day.

A large reservoir means less refills but bulkier machine.
Lasts the whole night (8 hrs) with about 40% filled + high setting.
When dialed to medium setting, it significantly reduces my feeling of dryness when I wake up the next morning.
However, the warm steam isn’t really “warm,” it just feels like body temperature. I probably do not have the correct expectation of “warm steam.”
General tip – don’t trust the # of hours when buying any humidifier! Look at the tank size instead!

Excellent product, can be used all year and as a soft lighting at night as well. Only default is refilling water, it’s heavy when full and water spills all around to take out or put back on. They could have had a top refill option. Love it.

Bought this for my elderly father to negate how hot & dry my folks kept their home.
This provided the necessary moisture in the air so he could breathe easier at night. The light is also nice providing a night light when he would get up in the middle of the night.

I’ve used humidifiers for over 20 years due to chronic sinus issues. This is by far the best humidifier I’ve ever used. It has both warm and cool mist and unlike older humidifiers, because it’s ultrasonic, it doesn’t get hot when using the warm mist. It also makes no noise except for an occasional gurgle as the water level changes. Since it holds 2 gallons of water, I only need to fill it every 2 or 3 days (depending on usage). There is a knob to adjust output level of the vapor which has a very wide adjustment between only a small amount of mist and a large amount. I use it in an approximately 375 sq. ft. area and at a medium setting it raises the humidity from 25% to 33%. At a higher setting it raises the humidity to about 40% or higher. When used in my bedroom (approximately 150 sq. ft.) it will raise the humidity much higher so I use a very low setting.
The only negative feature is the fill tank which doesn’t have an actual handle to carry it. It has a little hand notch, but it really requires two hands to carry it then flip it over to put into its base. This is a very small inconvenience and not enough to lower my rating. As a little plus, it also has a blue light that can be turned on, which keeps me from tripping over it at night.
I purchased this PureGaurdian humidifier seven months ago and have had no issues with it.
