I love this controller, it does take regular batteries (included). I see this as a advantage because you can just swap batteries if you need to in the middke of a game vs. having to charge it.

This is easily my 6 year old sons favorite controller. The Mario graphics and bright color scheme are fun for him. Only problem I have – there is no off switch so batteries run out fast.

I really like the feeling of the controller while playing. The only thing is that it does feel like cheap quality. The only thing I wish they did to the peo controllers is make it feel like it was work the koney uou spent on them. It kind if feels ljke a piece of plastic.
