This is a great heavy duty accessory. Also better build than some more expensive multi-mounting systems found on amazon. I’m currently using this to mount a cam to a microphone boom stand for overhead shots in a pinch. No need to lug around a c-stand when you need to setup quickly. ONLY downside… I just wished it could rotate a full 180 degrees.

This Umbrella Bracket did not work for us. It didn’t allow changing of angles. The limits of what it could do rendered it virtually useless for us.

I use this to mount a flash to my tripod. Let’s me shoot with different angles. Strong enough for a heavy umbrella.

Good product but mine had the umbrella handle hole which was not fully drillied out so very difficult to get hadnel in. I drilled it our rather than return so it worked out OK for me, bbut needs better quality assurance

This Platinum bracket is just what I needed for supporting a flash or LED light for photo or video work. It has an adaptable mounting system for various light stand tops and can hold an umbrella of soft box – or just the light. It also holds the flash or light securely. There is no wobbling, so I trust it.

Pretty decent mount for my Canon Speedlight and reflective umbrella. Nice solid angle adjustment. Only shortcoming was that it does not mount directly to a 1/4″ or 3/8″ plain shaft light stand. Luckily I had an adapter that made it all work. I bought an “open box in excellent condition”, only because that is the only one they had at my local store and I needed it for a photoshoot tomorrow. Unfortunately one of the springs was missing, so I stretched the single spring and cut it into 2. Presto, instant second spring.
