I really love this stereo, and the install process was amazing. My only complaint is that my newer Samsung Galaxy Ultra will not connect to the Android Auto so i cannot use the gps function. The Bluetooth connection does work, so i can hear directions…but cannot get the screen visuals.

I want to love it, but it is a very difficult fit for my 2016 JKU. Install was easy, bought the proper harnesses and installation kits, yet it still has difficulty sliding in and out. Also, for other Jeep owners, it blocks your dash console, which means less storage. I was not expecting it to sit up so high and block limited windshield view/dash storage. As far as sound goes, I preferred my AVH-1400NEX. HOWEVER, this is 100% better than the UConnect “phone call completed” every 5 seconds system.

After trying a number of other brands, including Kenwood, Alpine and Blaupunkt over the years- I decided on the NEX series Pioneer for all three of my single DIN vehicles. The ability to retract the screen is also a huge plus, doesn’t attract bandits so much as a full time 11” billboard.

Owners manual not included. Trying to download a manual from Pioneer website is an exercise in frustration, as 2 options show up, and neither one works. Interface does not look like the picture shown on the website, when the touchscreen is closed, I have no idea what the buttons on the chassis do. It works, that’s about all i can say.

Product seemed good. The BB site said it fit my van but it only fit in the space. The biggest issue was that when the screen comes out it hits the shifter causing damage to the drive on the unit. It was returned & refunded. Be sure it will clear everything while in motion – it does this everytime you start or shut off the vehicle. If the “Fitment guide” was correct I would have not lost 6 hours to install it, another to have it removed and another 2 hours to install another basic one.

I got this for my car and spent a little over $1,000 for the radio to constantly malfunction and work 25% of the time and I originally was going to get it installed at best buy and after waiting for over 3 weeks they decided to call me the day before my appointment to tell me they didn’t order the parts for my car and told me I would need to wait another 3-4 weeks but it doesn’t make any sense since I managed to get the parts they needed within 24 hours and they still wouldn’t do the install with the right parts in hand so now I have a non working radio and I’m over $1,000 in the drain definitely not going to be doing business with best buy again

Told the installer not to drill holes in the car. He did not, but the wire apparently required to link my phone to the system is now a loose nuisance. Not the installer’s fault but I wish it were located elsewhere. Otherwise just fine
