I am always on the lookout for an epilator that does not break or lose charge quickly after a handful of uses, and was pleasantly surprised with this product. It only takes about two hours to fully charge and lasts over a few uses for me. It is fairly easy to disconnect and change the heads/accessories, so no worries about snapping or breaking delicate clips. This epilator also works on wet or dry skin – I prefer my skin to be wet, which makes some traditional epilators pretty useless, but this product still gets nice and close to the skin. It gets even the shortest hairs (as short as 0.5mm!!) and gets the job done quicker than any other epilator I have ever used, which makes much more sense when you read that it has 32 tweezers. It even has a small built-in LED light so you know you are not missing any hairs. The value for this product is unmatched too! As long as it is kept gently clean with the cleaning brush, this product should hopefully stand up over time better than other models I have used in the past.

I have used an epilator on my legs for many years so I was delighted to find a new model. The handle is designed well to fit in the hand. The charging cord plugs into a regular electrical outlet but the cord could be longer. It does an excellent job of quickly removing hairs. If you are new to using this type of device, you may initially find it “smarts” as the hairs are removed so start with your lower legs. It takes some time to adjust to this & to use it above your knees since it does better on tight skin with less flab. I have very sensitive skin, so I wouldn’t want to use this on my under arms. I also don’t use this on my face. I like that it can be rinsed with water & used wet. I still need to use this several times a week since the hairs do grow back. I don’t know how long the charge lasts and the one negative thing about this device is that you can’t use it while it is plugged in. So the longevity of this is less than the competitors. I have many old device that now only work while plugged in since batteries eventually fail. This is a good product, so long as the battery life is good. I would feel sad if it had to go to the landfill. This is area that should be improved.

Initial opening:
Upon opening the box of this Philips Epilator I found the unit itself, two attachments for different uses whether it was for sensitive areas or the optimal contact cap, a white travel bag and a charger. I like the fact it’s for wet or dry use. Huge game changer there. It has a little light that turns on with the power button that lights up the area that’s in use. The epilator had some charge upon arrival but I decided to charge just in case. It took a little over 2 hours to fully charge and it was time to begin.
Experience:
I was a little hesitant to try an epilator but figured why not? It’ll only hurt for a second. I have a few problem spots under my chin that I will tweeze 2x a week. The unit arrived just in time for my weekly tweezing. Pain wise, it felt as if I were tweezing, so very tolerable. instead of it taking 10-15 mins to get all the hairs, it took my less than 5 minutes AND my chin feels so smooth!! Moving on to my armpits. After reading the directions, it suggests using the delicate area attachment for this area. I decided to do it in the warm shower and I must say, totally worth it and while it did sting while using it, the pain it wasn’t unbearable.
Closing thoughts:
In comparison, I’d say using the unit in the warm shower vs using it in the dry mode was much better with less discomfort. I never had the nerve to go to speed 2, speed 1 was just fine for the two areas I’ve tested so far. In a few days, I’m moving to my legs and I’m excited to see how that goes. Overall, this is a great unit! Pain is beauty most say and I will tell you this once more…it hurts no more than a normal tweeze would. Much faster and long lasting results.

This Philips 8000 series epilator is well made. It has a very nice ergonomic design which feels good to hold and maneuver during applications. It comes with a rechargeable battery that will last up to 40 min of continuous use. It can be used during wet and dry applications. I recommend doing it wet. It has two types of speed mode and a light that can help to see unremoved hair.
My girlfriend used it and the machine does work as intended. However, she’s not used to using a depilator and complains about the pain. This is not a razor so yes the machine will pull hair from the roots that’s how your skin will be smooth for weeks. I used it on myself and oh boy it does hurt, more power to the woman’s lol. The more you use it the more your body becomes accustomed to it and the pain will be less. If you are used to waxing then using this machine will be no problem.
Overall this machine does what it is supposed to and does it well. It is a bit loud and it looks intimidating but it works. It is easy to hold and it’s light. It can be used during wet and dry applications no problem. It comes with needed accessories to be used in different parts of the body. In the box you get the epilator, two attachments, cleaning brush, carrying case, charger and manual.

This cordless epilator comes with only a few attachments, which are two different blade guards. These snap on and off without a problem. Apparently there are some other really cool attachments for pedicures, which only comes with that particular upgraded package. I looked to see if I could buy the attachments separately, and I couldn’t find anything. There are two speeds to the epilator. When you first turn it on, it’s on the highest speed, then if you push the power button it switches to the lower speed, and then push the power button again and that turns it off. This unit is waterproof, so you can use it in the shower, or rinse it off with water. There is a blade brush included with this, to brush all of the epilated hairs off of the blade and handle.
I would say this is a good starter unit for anybody who is interested in becoming less hirsute. The included instruction is quite complete also.

I have to admit, I have this obsession with hair removal. I have tried all different ways of removing hair on multiple places on my body and because I am a natural blond, the laser method does not work too great unless my hair is a bit darker, like on my legs. Out of the box I charged it, which did not take too long at all. I used it for the first time on those pesky little blond hairs on my chin, because there is no way I am going cut or shave my chin, and boy did it grab those and leave smooth skin behind! A lot better than my current epilator! Since I was used to the sensation, I used it on #2 and it was easy. What is great about epilation is that it takes longer for you to see grow back, and the growth gets weaker and weaker the more you do it and over time! Love that! It is also water proof, so wonderful that you can put under running water to clean with a little swipe of the cleaning brush.. I also Love that this epilator is rechargeable! Up until now, I only had hard wired ones. This epilator is also expandable to other grooming tools such as a trimmer/shaver, callus remover, etc. That is a great feature to make better use of an grooming appliance! I am very pleased!

I have tried many products to remove hair from my legs, underarms and forearms. Hair still grows back within a short period of time. So far, this has removed hair and it has stayed off! I realize some will grow back but this really removes hair right from the root.
Do realize that this does “pinch”. Some would say it’s painful. It all depends on your tolerance. I have a pretty high pain tolerance so I feel a pinch. It is pulling hair out by the root so it won’t be painless.
There is an attachment that stretches the skin to help reduce the pulling feeling. There is also an attachment for “sensitive” areas. Not to give too much information but I have not tried that one yet.
What I like about this is that you can get smooth skin for a vacation and be set for over a week. No need to bring razors along to shave daily.
The skin on my legs, arms and underarms is so smooth! There are no bumps or redness after using this.
The only downside is that it is LOUD! I tried using it while watching TV and it drowned out the show.
Overall, this is a great way to get super smooth skin that lasts.

Philips Hair Removal Epilator, Series 8000 can be a good buy depending on where you plan to use it. I have tried it in 3 different places and each area performs a little differently, likely due to the fineness of the hairs. The instructions are easy enough to navigate and the epilator is easy to use. Since I have not used an epilator of any kind before, I did search up some videos about it before using it. One video claimed that it didn’t hurt and was equivalent to the feeling of shaving. That was a bold faced lie. This device is basically a pair of electric tweezers, of course it will be uncomfortable. It rates about a 3+ from 1-10 pain scale. Not horrible, but by no means pain free. I tried it both wet and dry. It is a smidge less painful when it’s wet.
For the armpits. I give it 5 stars. It seems the most effective there.
For the legs, I give it 4 stars. The knees were actually not plucked out, rather they were just trimmed, and 2 days later there was new stubble formed. I did have pink dot irritation on my legs which lasted for about 3 hours. Instructions forewarn about this and recommend evening use so the dots can fade overnight.
For the face, I give it 3 stars. I have very fine peach fuzz. It was able to get maybe 40% and it was the most painful and difficult to do. I repeated it the next day and achieved a better result (maybe 80%), but I had to do it dry so I could see well in the mirror. 2 days later I have some tiny pink bumps or pimples in the spot from the irritation. I will probably leave the face alone since it is not worth the pain and result in my case.
Things to note, there are disclaimers about the possibility of ingrown hairs resulting. If you have a history of ingrown hairs, it may not be the right product for you. Also, they recommend not sharing your device due to hygiene concerns.
I would recommend this product to a friend with the above information being told in advance so they can know what to realistically expect.

After using the Philips Epilator Series 8000 i must say i prefer it much more than having to shave daily or every other day. This Philips epilator comes with the epilator, a delicate area cap. Iptimal contact cap, and a pouch to store it in. When shaving i always miss spots but this epilator has a light on it to help you catch any spots that you may have missed. One of the biggest features is that this is cordless so you dont have to worry about a cord reaching or getting tangled. I can do my legs and arms with still having more than enough charge. This epilator can be used wet or dry. I kind of prefer to use it as a dry epilator. When using an epilstor, like any other epilator, you will feel a slight tugging at the hair but nothing that is too painful or cant be handled. Using an epilator prevents me from having to shave daily or even weekly! Thats what i love the most. Its easy to use, quick, gets the hair down to the root, doesnt hurt, and its quiet. It works on short or longer leg hairs and arm hairs. I havent tried it under my arm pits yet just because thats a sensitive area and im nervous to but i do plan on using it there as well. Overall great epilstor for body hair.

This Philips Epilator Series 8000 for Women is incredible! I’m not going to lie, the first time I pressed this to my skin, I about jumped out of it (my skin that is)!! I didn’t know what to expect, but after that first time, it was much, much easier. Simple to set up, this just needed a charge with the included cord. This contains a lithium ion battery that enables cordless use and is not to be used while plugged in, only cordless. And, it can be used both wet and dry so you are able to use it in the bath or shower or run it under water for cleaning after use. They do suggest that the discomfort may be less if used with water. I didn’t try using water as I didn’t experience that much discomfort.
This comes with quite an extensive paper user guide (remember those accordion maps before GPS?) that shows numerous attachments, most of which are NOT included with this product. This model does include a “delicate area” cap for use on delicate areas eg: upper lip or underarms and an “optimal contact” cap for arms, legs, etc. I used the optimal contact cap on my arms and legs. Yes, as a woman, I have been blessed (!!) with hair on my arms. It used to be darker and thicker when I was younger, but it is still there. This would have been a blessing had I had this back then – this Philips Epilator easily, quickly and most importantly to me, completely removed the hair on my arms from my elbow to my hands. Yes, I felt it doing its job, but it didn’t hurt at all. Same with my legs – with the optimal contact cap, you can sort of pull the skin a little tighter as you move and easily remove all the hair. An important note – exfoliating and moisturizing the area is very important to reduce the likelihood of ingrown hairs. This is similar to the need to do the same after waxing. Versus shaving, epilating lasts (they say) up to 4 weeks, whereas with shaving you get little nubs the next day! You can easily remove the epilator head for cleaning after each use – then simply run it under water.
With a very fast rotation and 32 ceramic (hypoallergenic materials) tweezers, the Philips Epilator Series 8000 is fast and efficient. It absolutely gets the job done and fast. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a hair removal tool for women. And it also comes with a pouch, which I appreciate.

Really nice epilator. It comes in a nice small package and they include the epilator, a couple of attachments, a carrying pouch (white) and charging brick with cable. It has an LED light to help illuminate while you epilate (very bright).
I fully charged it once I received it. It quick charges very fast if you just want to use it a bit, or you can leave it charging for a full charge that will last you a long time. I love how fast it can remove my leg hairs and also on my arm pits. They also include a couple of attachments. One is for more sensitive areas (like the bikini area or around your arm pits), the other attachment kind of stretches your skin so its easier to remove hairs.
I love that it can be used either wet or dry, since most of the times I do my hair removal when showering, this is very important. It has a super bright LED light that really illuminates so for great precision. My skin was super soft and not irritated at all compared to using razors, highly recommend it. I did notice the whole head can be removed for a thorough cleaning just by pressing a button on the back. The trimmer itself has two speeds you can choose, depending if you want to go fast or slower for a more thorough removal. Really nice.
Highly recommend it if you want soft skin and no hairs!!

Got this at the wife’s request. She said it works well and she found it comfortable to hold. It has a bright light so you can see what you’re doing. She said it is easy to take apart and easy to clean after using it. She experienced no skin irritation after using it.
It can be used either dry or wet, she used it after a shower on dry skin.
It has two speeds, the slower speed is recommended for sensitive areas. My wife has very fine hair on her legs, she said either speed worked fine for her. I can confirm that her legs are quite smooth. 😉
She said she tried it with and without the efficiency cap attachment and didn’t really notice a difference. She thought somebody with coarser hair might prefer using the cap.
It comes with a narrow guard for more sensitive areas also, she tried it with and without the guard on her face to remove some little “peach fuzz” type hair and said either way worked fine. She said she preferred using it without the guard to get done quicker.
Came with a storage bag also.

I never thought that I would’ve needed such a fabulous game changing device as this, but hey strange things happen as we age. I’ve used creams but decided a few years ago that the harsh chemicals aren’t worth it to continue to use on my skin. So I began plucking the few hairs that have thickened over the years. This device has changed the game.
It works. Simply put. It doesn’t hurt and it pulls out the hairs with accuracy. The only hairs that seem to be elusive to this machine were the white hairs that have thinned over time. Which was a bit odd but that was one or two that I had to hand pluck myself, which I would say was still a success.
It is a little noisy but not loud. It fits well in the hand and comfortable while operating. It glides over my skin and it didn’t pull or snag my skin. Very easy to use and I was able to go over areas multiple times to make sure all the hairs were gone, and I experienced no irritation. Charging doesn’t take long. This is the fastest I’ve ever been able to rid myself of the beautiful gifts and wonders of aging into a bearded lady. lol
Overall, I’m super happy with this device and I highly recommend it.

Works great if you have long hairs, but I wish it did a better job of removing shorter hair. Personally, I do not like going more than a couple of days without shaving my legs, and I found this epilator had a hard time removing the short hair from my legs. I did not measure the hair length since it’s so short, but I usually shave every other day with a razor, and I was hoping this would reduce my reliance on a razor. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will reliably use this for shaving my legs. On my armpits, the epilator did a little better, and my guess it’s because those hairs are a little longer, so easier to grab. I did not use this on my face and did not try to use it on other gentle areas.
Overall, I would recommend this to someone who does not mind letting their leg hair grow enough for the epilator to be able to perform and remove the hair no problem.
As far as the quality built and design of the product, I really like it and appreciate that is charges quickly and that there are no wires in the way. The traveling bag is a nice touch to put it all in there for easy storage.

Build/Make : The product is pretty lightweight and easy to use. There are 2 levels of setting for the speed of the hair remover which can be changed using the On/Off buttong. The handle has a good grip and the buttons are easy to handle. The torch provided is not of much use. The device is very noisy and the blades do not move very smoothly over your skin.
It charges pretty quickly and the attachments can be fixed / removed easily. However a couple of parts mentioned in the manual were not found in the package (Callus remover, Trimmer).
Efficiency : You need to use it continuously 2-3 times over a portion of your skin (even if you are covering a small area) for the hair to come out completely. And this is not a smooth and pain free process as you can feel the sharp pinch of every hair being pulled out of your skin. Even if you do it right after a bath or a shower with no cream or gel on your body, you will feel the pain of the hair coming out. And you cannot use it on a fully grown patch of hair (which can probably be more painful). This product can be used over 1/3rd or 1/2 grown hair, which still does not come out in one go. Looking at how much it hurt while shaving my legs and arms, I decided to not try it on my underarms.
Cleaning : The cleaning process is not very easy as the thin fine hair gets stuck to the remover and the tiny cleaning brush provided can be used to brush off the hair sticking to the outside of the remover. Running the blades through hot water cleans some of the stuck hair but not all of it comes off easily.

My wife has had 2 Epilators in the past, the one she liked the best was Philips she had when we lived overseas (years ago). Now that she has older tougher skin she thought she’d try it again, thinking it was newer technology. The newer technology is the exceptional battery life from the lithium ion batteries. I’ve captured an image of the instructions (if you consider this I suggest you read them first), you can zoom in and read all the details, most of which tell you what not to do. This specific unit comes with three accessories, the instructions cover the 12 that are available. If you’re not aware this epilator is only intended for use below your neck.
The product has 2 speed settings, high and low. You can use it either wet or dry; although wet after showering is recommended for “less painful epilation”. When you first turn it on it’s on high, press the button again and it changes to low. The epilator doesn’t really pick up much of anything. It takes several passes over the same spot. Second, it really hurts, she first tried it on her legs, and found several areas (raised moles etc) that had to be avoided (for fear of ripping them apart). She said it still felt like you were getting stabbed and scratched by tiny blades. She’s previously tried waxing and said that it hurts less. She only did her shins on both legs. Both ended up with red rash. After the hairs started growing back, almost every hair follicle was ingrown. So the rash is now gone but the spots she epilated are covered in painful ingrown hairs.
So, the battery life is great, you can torture youself for a longer period of time, or NOT!

If you’re expecting the Phillips Epilator to feel and act like a shaver it’s not. It’s more like electric tweezers pulling your hair out with some pain involved. First-time users expect some complaints about pain just like wife did. I highly recommend that you watch the tips video from the Phillip website before using it. There is definitely some adjustment if you’re only used to shavers. If you’re used to waxing this won’t be nothing to you.
If used properly Phillips does say expect smooth skin for up to 4 weeks. With double-action technology, it’s supposed to remove more hair in one go. It’s also supposed to be faster compared to other competitors. The 32 ceramic tweezers are made of hypoallergenic material for comfortability, and to glide smoother over the skin. It’s less painful when used in warm water. It also comes with additional accessories like a cap for delicate areas, and a cap for optimal contact. There’s also an LED light to help with hair visibility. The machine itself it’s nicely ergonomic designed the wife mentioned so no complaints in that area.
Overall if you can get used to the pain, this is a much better route compared to shavers. Your skins stay longer smooth, thus cutting down on your number of shaves.

The Phillips Series 8000 Wet & Dry epilator is a very nice, quality unit. I just don’t think it’s the device for me.
I wanted to use this primarily on my face. The unit advertises that it can remove hairs that are “shorter than waxing”, so I thought it would work. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience.
Normally, I tweeze daily and use an at-home laser treatment once per week. This unit didn’t pick up any of the hairs I would normally pluck. I even gave it two days to grow out to allow for length. I tried the gentle cap (recommended for the face), the larger area guide, and just the unit alone. It picked out a few dark hairs. The fine white/blonde hairs I have were not removed at all.
I tried to use it on my upper lip and…OUCH! It felt like it bit more skin than removed hair. I won’t be doing that again.
I tried it on the longer, thinner hair on my arms and there it did a pretty good job. I did have some red spots afterward. I used the unit before bed, and the spots were gone by morning.
Using it on my arm was not super painful, but I did feel pulling on the hair. It wasn’t pain-free.
Full disclosure on my tests – I did NOT use if after a shower (my routine is done before I shower), nor did I try the wet features. I am not in the shower long enough, I think, to be effective.
I wouldn’t say not to try this unit. I just don’t think it’s the solution for me.

I have to start by saying this epilator does exactly what it says it will and does a good job doing it. It removes hair efficiently and quickly and the area does stay smoother for much longer than if you shave. It is much closer to home waxing which is a very nice option to have.
The battery lasts a good long time and the device is very comfortable to hold and use. The guards are handy for different areas.
My only downside to this is that it’s pretty painful. For some people it might not be a problem whether because your hair is different or pain tolerance is higher. Waxing is something that I don’t like doing either and it’s similar to that. My hair is pretty thick and I think because of that anything that pulls it is more painful than if the hair would be thinner.
In the end it is a great product and it’s definitely a good option to have around for different situations. I think if I use it in the future I’ll just take a little pain reliever before hand and see if that makes it better.
I would definitely recommend this product though because it does a great job.

I bought this epilator for my girlfriend. She said she would only try it if I tried it out first. I figured, why not…these things have been around for forever, it seems like they work (since they’ve been around since before I can remember), reviews seem mostly positive, and Philips is generally a good brand (I personally use their Norelco products).
I turned it on without fully charging it and thought this is going to be interesting. It charges in less than 2 hours. I kept it on the charger overnight. I decided I would try it out on my upper arm, which is not a delicate part of my body. The instructions say to keep it at a 75 degree angle – I would agree this is the best angle to remove hair. Outside of that parameter, it seems to either not pull anything and/or pinch your skin with hair – it does not cut your skin, but will pull your hair.
So, how did it feel…well, it was uncomfortable, but not horrible…yes, painful. I could not imagine using this in a more sensitive part of your body…unless you enjoy pain…I do not… So what happened over the next several hours to days after using it? It caused a red, bumpy rash, which has mostly settled down. The hair does seem to have been removed…and hasn’t grown in about a week or so, but to me it wasn’t worth it. My girlfriend (and multiple other people I have told about my experience) think I’m crazy for trying it…and for some reason, no one wants to try it themselves (which you shouldn’t share personal hygiene products anyway…). As I’m writing this, it’s Halloween…so maybe I’ll trick my brother into trying it…just kidding.
Bottomline, it seems to be constructed well. If you have used something like this before and have been either happy with the results and/or wanted more, this should work out well for you. I would say use it about a week before you need to, so if your skin develops a rash, it will clear up within that time. For my use, I can’t imagine using it myself again. And my girlfriend won’t even try it…

I got this for my wife, so this review will be from that perspective. While it was her first experience with an epilator, we looked through the the instructions and watched the videos and it just didn’t work well for her. Her skin is stretchier than most due to a medical condition she has, so that may be related, but it seems like in order to get the full experience of properly using this product you need some additional accessories that are not included in this version.
In the box is the epilator and 3 accessories, though Philips counts the cleaning brush as one of those accessories. The delicate area cap is for facial hair, underarms, and the bikini area. The ‘efficiency’ cap is to help keep the epilator tight on the skin and reduce pain. There are about 6 or 7 additional accessories available to help with prepping the areas before and after epilating.
She tried the epilator on both wet and dry on her legs and the experience was mostly just painful and not that effective. For her, at least compared to her normal shaving routine. I know that epilators are meant to cut down on the amount of time in between shaving, but this experience just wasn’t it for her. I truly think this is a ‘your mileage may vary’ situation though as it seems like a well-made product and it’s easy to clean and swap between accessories. It just didn’t work out for us.

If you have skin as sensitive as mine, steer clear of this device – it’s not your ally.

The Philips Epilator Series 8000 comes with instructions so convoluted and confusing that even Sherlock Holmes would throw in the towel. I found myself trying to decipher a puzzle that featured missing pieces and accessories that apparently didn’t come with this model. I was left squinting at tiny, indecipherable images, desperately attempting to figure out what I was supposed to do. The confusion was so intense that I considered using the epilator to free myself from this maze of misery.
Those were my biggest struggles with this device but not the only issues. Let’s breakdown all the disappointment I experienced when reality crashed into expectations.

Philips Claims vs. Painful Reality

Smooth skin for weeks with Double Action Technology: Philips proudly presents the Double Action Technology, promising to remove hair as short as 0.5mm. They claim that the wide epilator head with 50% longer tweezers can remove more hair in one go. However, the painful reality is that you might find yourself making multiple passes to achieve anything close to smooth skin. Double the action, double the pain. And double the time. Remember you have limited time before your battery runs out!
32 ceramic hypoallergenic tweezers for a gentle treatment: Philips speaks of 32 ceramic tweezers made of hypoallergenic material for a comfortable treatment. They claim that these tweezers glide easily over your skin with less friction and more skin contact. While there may be women out there who love it, my body’s response was anything but gentle. Hypoallergenic did not mean ok for sensitive skin. The pain remains, but the effectiveness diminishes.
Epilate in warm water for extra comfort: The Epilator Series 8000 offers a Wet & Dry function for a gentler epilation experience. Philips suggests that warm water can relax your skin and make the treatment more comfortable. Unfortunately, the warm water does little to ease the pain. It’s like trying to put out a forest fire with a garden hose – ineffective and still scorching. I tried it wet, dry, in the shower, and out. It all hurt!
Spot even the finest hairs with Opti-light: Philips claims that the embedded Opti-light can spot even the finest hairs, close enough to your skin to catch the remaining ones. However, the Opti-light is so unimpressive that you might not even notice it until you’ve already missed those fine hairs. In other words, it’s not very bright or effective.
In Conclusion – A Painful Misadventure
In summary, if you enjoy pain that rivals the Spanish Inquisition, the Philips Epilator Series 8000 might be your new best friend. For the rest of us who prefer a more pleasant hair removal experience, there are far better options out there. This epilator seems to cater exclusively to individuals with an unnaturally high pain threshold or those who enjoy making confessions under duress. So, if you’re considering this device, I strongly advise you to think again – unless you have a burning desire for a hair removal experience that feels like a medieval torture chamber.

Philips epilator hair remover series 8000, I had been wanting to get one for a while, it comes with a pouch, two covers delicate area cap and optimal contact cap I honestly did not try either one I just used it straight on, I’m not a a hair person my hair on legs and armpits are fine, when I used it one my legs I tried it with shorter hair it says it can do it with hair as short as 0.5mm I felt it was better with hair that was longer maybe cause my hair is finer it griped better longer, it’s a been at least 3 weeks and I’m barely able to feel the hair growth still really smooth, my armpits I did after a hot shower it is wet/dry use I figured armpits are more sensitive it’s also been about 3 weeks and now starting to feel the growth a bit more then my legs but I do feel like my pit hair does grow fast, you can feel it plucking your hair I didn’t find it painful I felt like it was like a light electric feeling I have had any issues with ingrown hairs. I used on my boyfriends upper back neck area he has a small patch of hair he would normally shave he loved it left the area smoother for longer it’s his new favorite machine. I use a little vitamin E oil after using it although there was no irritation on either one of us.

This is my first epilator experience and I was excited to try it out and hopefully extend time between hair removal. The unit itself is well made and comes with two accessory heads depending on the area you are using it on. It comes with a charger as well. They provide thorough instructions on proper use of the unit and what you should avoid doing. Since this was my first time using an epilator, I was sure to read through their instructions and follow their recommendations on best hair length for use. They also have helpful videos on their YouTube on proper use.
The epilator can be used on wet or dry skin. I decided to try this out in the shower since it recommends wet skin for less pain/irritation. The epilator also has two speeds – when you initially turn it on its high speed and another button click is slow speed. I decided to start on the slow speed at first. I started to make passes along my leg and wow was this painful! My leg hair is on the thinner side, so it was taking me multiple passes in some areas to get the hair removed. Once I finished, I noticed my legs were covered in small red bumps which went away by the next day.
I only used it once and don’t think I’ll be using it again. I didn’t notice a difference in how quickly my hair grew back, but I didn’t expect much change since I only used it once. If you are used to epilators, I think this unit is worth a try. It’s well-made and at the end of the day did remove my hair. But this style of hair removal is not for me!

I’ve never used an Epilator before but now I wished I’ve known about these sooner. It is better than shaving like almost every other day and it’s easy to do at home and in my opinion less painful than waxing. When I first used it did hurt slightly but that’s because I didn’t know what to expect.

You can use this device wet or dry and I prefer to use it right after a shower. It feels less painful in my opinion doing it that way. To use it you want to make sure you’re going with the grain of how your hairs are growing so it pulls it out of the root instead of just leaving it in otherwise you might was well shave. This lasts a bit longer than shaving. I use it mostly on my legs and takes a bit of time but it’s well worth it. You just can’t use it while charging so make sure you charge it fully before each use it you don’t want to stop mid way while using it.
