    This machine is so easy to use and makes great lattes. I would give it more stores but im doubting how long it will last with all parts being plastic. Espresso shots can burn if you make a double shot. It makes one shot, then the other.

    The machine is amazing, great coffee options, but in the first 3 days it started acting weird, long time to heat, and the coffee was ground, but no extraction, decided to return and, and decide to level up to 5400 model, that’s still amaze me, everytime.

    Very convenient machine, very easy milk frothing/storage/cleaning system. A little bit on a loud side, but most superautos in this price range are. Make sure to read instructions. Let it run through some shots before you decide to adjust the grinder or return the machine- I promise espresso taste gets better.

    Love this machine it’s so easy to use and really easy to clean. Used it multiple times a day since purchasing. Would recommend this to anyone who wants and espresso machine under 1,000$. The only negative but not a big deal is the portions are more European than American, just make more or add an extra shot.

    Good but scratched out of the box. Seams Philips doesn’t have much quality control or Best Buy was selling these cheaper for a reason. Not so happy with coffee either at most it’s above average

    Welcome to having a Barista in your home! Super easy to use and the unit makes great coffee, espressos, lattes, cappuccinos and Americanos! The quality is where you expect it to be for the price and they have perfect ultimate simplicity. Highly recommended!

    Purchased the 1200 but it malfunctioned out of the box, returned and they were out of them at BB, so I swing for the 3200, $376 more. Well unfortunately I can’t compare the 2 machines. Full disclosure I like my coffee hot. black and strong.
    I can say that after some experimenting with amount of grinds and amount of water per cup I did dialed it in to a really good cup of coffee and very easy. Much better cup of coffee than Keurig and just as easy.
    Espresso is very good and very easy. Not as good as my manual espresso machine but no mess and sooo much faster and easier. Especially when you have guests that you actually like to spend time with.
    I have a feeling that the longer I use this machine the better it will get as long as it doesn’t break on me.

    Very good alternative to an automatic coffee maker. I have been enjoying how easy it is to make a delicious coffee in the morning. I recommend this machine; some reviews say that it is a little noisy, but to be honest, that doesn’t bother me.

    An AMAZING gift from my family. I got it for Christmas holiday and I love it. If I have to flee my house for an emergency, flood, wild fire, etc,, I’ll be bringing this coffee maker. Invest in good coffee beans to go with this machine. Also the clear coffee cups seem to make the drinks more special. Not sure why but I now prefer to see the coffee at different levels because making latte’s is different from straight coffee.

    This is a fantastic super automatic machine. I got a fantastic deal on it so I am happy so far. It works best with light roast or medium roast beans. Stay away from very dark roasts since the oil is sticky and causes the grinder to stick

    Some things to note (could be improved):
    – it takes about 15-20 shots of espresso to get a solid pull.
    – you cannot do frothed milk only, but it does allow dispensing hot water.
    – it uses lots of water for pre rinse and post espresso shot cycles. This is annoying.

    Some items the machine does well:
    – offers enough customization for grind size, pull length, and temperature.
    – supports all types of milk, however if using eggnog to make an eggnog latte, be sure to make sure to mix milk and eggnog so the froth is ideal
    – supports preground in a special container so you can easily make decaf or another blend if you have it.
    – hopper is a great size. Lasts for about 2 weeks with 2 cups a day.

    For the Cost, this is a very good value compared to some much higher end machines as well as nespresso (I also have a nespresso original machine). For those doing the math, this machine comes down to about $0.22/espresso shot.

    The best feature of this is the milk frother, it’s an amazing invention in this machine.

    We love our Machine, it was easy to set up and makes a great Latte and Cappuccino. The ease of cleaning and the quality of the espresso are great
    I do wish that I could set the timer for it going to sleep. Every time it is a sleep and you want to make a coffee, you have to allow it to go through its prep phase.

    Actually I really enjoyed this until I’m trying to get my item fixed under warranty. I’m unable to contact somebody. I have gone to the manufacture site etc, but this has been unsuccessful. The cost of this machine, this should have an easier solution

    That’s what you need for a great cup of coffee in the morning. No messing with filters. Real taste like in Vienna or Istanbul. Cocoa source for kids, capiccino for guests and very special guests. Real stuff, no exorbitant electricity bills and no need to have a separate room or closet for your machine. Philips rules!

    Preciously had a nespresso machine and couldnt find any pods that i actually liked. Wanted an espresso machine, but didnt think i wanted a manual espresso machine just yet. A little bit of a learning curve at the beginning with this, but makes amazing coffee! I haven’t stopped at a coffee shop except to buy beans since buying my phillips. 10/10 recommend if looking for an affordable automatic espresso machine
