    My family somewhat like this Panasonic microwave. However, Panasonic’s implementation of the dial is pretty bad. We came from a larger (2.2 Cu. Ft 1500) oven that we loved, but we had to downsize due to space constraints in our new home. Our LG had a dial that worked wonderfully. This one on this Panasonic is horrid! You turn, but don’t get far, so you must turn A LOT more. Who is design director that tested this thing and thought that was okay?! Is it really that difficult to have non-employees use these things to give their thoughts? The saving grace is that you can press the 30 sec Quick button up to 5 minutes, which will serve most food plate heatings.

    Also, reading the labels on the fron of this thing is no fun. Why on earth do today’s designers insist on printing similar colors on top of similar colored/toned backgrounds? Ever see grey text on a white background web page? That’s what this is like. Just WOW! On the good side though is the clock is a nice bright white, unlike our LG that was blue led that was super difficult to see in most lighting conditions. Thank goodness for having clocks on everything these days.

    This microwave has good power for it’s size. It’s nice looking too, but we’re still in the return window, and have not thrown out the box because of ridiculous design elements that really should not be in place.

    We are hesitant to recommend without pointing out the silly design decisions.

    Purchased this microwave a couple months ago as a replacement for an older one we had that was being temperamental about operating. So far, very pleased with this microwave. Adequate size, good power, excellent price point. Just have to get used to the “dial” for time and other settings but not hard to get used to. Will see you it holds up with time.

    not sure yet about this microwave, as it has had an odd smell (like burning or hot interior components) since we got it. it seems to be getting better (less of a smell), but i am proceeding with caution. i will exchange it soon if the smell doesn’t completely go away.

He said his old one wasn’t powerful enough and it took too long to cook certain things so we got him a 1100 Watt unit. He loves it and it was on sale and we got to use reward points to help purchase it!!

    I replaced a LG with this unit several weeks ago and so far I am not very impressed. The area you push to start the microwave is very stiff and occasionally sticks in the “in” position. The turntable screeches when it turns and I think it is underpowered for the rating.

    Performance is okay. Ergonomics are often counter intuitive. Traded this unit in for another unit whose controls are more instinctive and efficient.

    I bought this microwave because I was looking for a powerful one and I prefer physical dials and buttons.It was great in the beginning but less than a year old and the interior is rusted on the carousel plate, poor ventilation when cooking probably causes the rust have to constantly dry the microwave after each use . I will be contacting customer service
