This is used in a cabinet and needed smaller size with minimum clearance. This is the only microwave that would fit since it only requires 1” clearance above compared to 12” for most microwaves. It is quite and easy to use. Seems to heat more evenly than previous GE microwave.

Awesome little microwave! I love the size but was concerned with the wattage being too low to be efficient. BUT, this is powerful and extremely efficient!! The size is perfect for my counter, and honestly for 950 watts, I am so amazed at how well everything cooks. BEST microwave I have ever owned!

This is a perfect size for my room, is great looking, and works amazingly well with the Inverter Technology Panasonic has used for years, which is why I chose this one.
There were many other less expensive options, but after using the Panasonics in the past with their Inverter Technology, I will not buy another brand of microwave.
I’ve had 2 others in the past that I left with other people due to moves I’ve made and I always come back to this brand and technology. My last one, which was a larger one that would not fit in my new place was used by me and my roommate who is an executive chef and he said it was by far the best cooking microwave he’d ever used and was very impressed. I told him it was worth the extra few bucks and after using it, he agreed wholeheartedly.
Size is perfect with a decent sized turntable and it’s easy to use. Can’t go wrong with this one!

This is an expensive, small microwave – don’t waste your money. It worked the first time and would not stop running after the second use. Back to Best Buy it went.

I never had any experience with Panasonic when it came to microwaves. We had a microwave in the kitchen for years. I’m a minimalist and I don’t replace stuff unless it breaks. But this old thing was inching closer to the end of its intended lifespan.
One day, the wife carefully nudged me and said “hey, I think we should get one of those Panasonic microwave ovens that can cook a whole meal in no time!”. I love to cook. Not in a microwave. So I listened to her, carefully, because that’s what a good husband does (and besides, the basement is not usually a nice place where I’d want to spend the rest of my life! 🙂 ) So our first Panasonic attempt was a gigantic microwave oven that indeed cooked an entire meal! But we live in a small house and this thing took a huge portion of my kitchen counter space! I suppose great things don’t come in small packages, after all…
Our second attempt was this, much smaller and modern (Inverter Technology) Panasonic microwave unit. It fit the bill and the space on my precious kitchen counter. It’s a “microwave” so no other fancy frills and air-frying features. I didn’t really want any so this thing is a beauty! It checked off all the boxes.
The features are standard but this “Inverter Technology” which all Panasonic units come with is pure wizardry. No more uneven heating of your food! You have to experience it to believe it! And it’s quiet and the beep at the end of the cycle, doesn’t wake up the entire neighborhood!
All buttons are easy-touch, nicely labeled and placed in a logical and easy to find fashion, which is a plus! But my favorite is the round “dial button” which can dial up incrementally from a few seconds to minutes, on the fly! I just love it! The built-in software senses the speed with which you turn the knob and exponentially adjusts the seconds/minutes so you can adjust the time slower second by second or get to a 20 minute setup by turning the knob quicker! Genius!
It’s a great unit packed with simple and basic microwaving features! It’s got everything. At close to 1000 Watts of power, it boils water in a cup in about one minute time. Looks nice and it’s whisper quiet. I got it at an “open box” deal which was a real steal! Even at full retail price, this thing is worth every penny!
And BestBuy delivered as always.

My review has only to do with the way in which Best Buy packages this item for delivery and not the actual item itself. They rely on the flimsy carton that the microwave comes in and do not then place it in a delivery carton with any sort of packing protection. Because of that the microwave was delivered with a shattered glass door and the microwave had to be replaced. I then ordered a second one as a gift with the request that they send in a brown delivery carton. They ignored the request and again sent the microwave in its original carton without placing it in a delivery carton with protection.
