    This is a great coffee pot. Make excellent coffee every time. Stays reasonably hot in the carafe without burning. Very easy to use.

    This is the best coffee maker I’ve owned (had Krups, Cuisinart). The versatility (pot or mug) is great and the timed delay of water dispensing to de-gas the coffee grounds is very unique at this price point.

    Positives: good coffee brewed quickly. I am only using it for myself and really like the single brew option. When I want 2 cups, I use the carafe, which is working great – easy to clean (just be sure when you put the cap on to line up that notch). I bought this machine because of the good reviews and because I’ve broken two glass carafes.
    Negative: it’s not self heating and the carafe doesn’t keep the coffee hot for long (but at most i’m only brewing 2 cups).

    Happy with this purchase, after having used it around a dozen times. Seems to me that any negative reviews about a big mess are due to user error. Watch videos before setting it up and you’ll be all set. I like a hot cup of coffee and this delivers, mostly I used the 4 cups and under setting (still brewing into the pot). I pour one cup of coffee the way I like it and immediately pour the rest into a double walled coffee cup (I love ZOKU thermal cups) so I can enjoy it hot when my first mug of coffee is done. The option to brew a single cup (5oz) or up to 4 cups (20oz) is really great. Yes, it’s true that to get every last sip out of the coffee pot you must take off the lid and turn the pot upside down but who cares, lol. It’s easy to clean, easy to use, and so far I have been happy with this machine. In general, I find it annoying that a decent drip coffee maker is $200 or above, but here we are…

    Makes 8 cup pot quickly. Insulated pot keeps coffee warm for a couple of hours. We really notice an improvement over our old coffee maker (that coffee tasted burnt). Would be better if it made 10 cups.

    I love this coffee pot. It is easy to use with no spills or messy cleanup. The brewed coffee has a clean taste, and the pot keeps the coffee got without the usual bitter aftertaste for some time. I would recommend this coffee pot to everyone.

    Bought this after reading Wirecutter review and am happy with the purchase. Initially, after 2 weeks of use the pot overflowed but Oxo customer service confirmed there was an issue with some of the lids and sent me a replacement immediately. There has been no problem since then. This coffee maker is quiet and quick, brews a nice carafe (or cup) of coffee, and looks sleek. The coffee stays warm quite some time in the carafe without getting “burned” as happens with other coffeemakers with warming plates.

    I love the sleek design, it looks great in my kitchen. It’s easy to use, and I like that there is not a hot plate because they can be very hard to keep clean.

    The only downside is the carafe doesn’t seem to keep coffee warm for very long. I actually prefer this, though, because coffee “kept” warm doesn’t even taste good anyways…a sign to make a fresh pot. Lol

    So other than one glaring issue, this was a fine coffee pot. Brewed coffee quickly, simple interface, easy to clean. HOWEVER, this thing would not stop spilling out of the carafe, getting coffee everywhere and making a huge mess. It didn’t happen everytime, but after the fourth incident (after making sure it was always cleaned out well and being run through with descaler) I was done. So, if you’re fortunate to get one with no issues, this is a fine coffees maker, but I was tired of cleaning up massive messes that seemed to occur randomly.

    It makes great coffee. The carafe doesn’t seem to keep the coffee warm as long as I thought it would and the carafe lid rattles. I like that the water you pour into the tank is used for that batch of coffee. It doesn’t sit there until you make the next batch which could be the next morning or longer.
