This case gives me solid piece of mind. Good sting case. East to install if you follow the instructions. Be aware that the case is thicker because of the level of protection it provides for drops. The only thing I’d like to see is this case with a built in screen protector. The spot that holds the Apple pen doesn’t hold the pen very well and will fall loose inside the case sometimes.

Excellent item. Have purchased Otterbox products several times before. Solid design and very functional. Everything fits snugly around iPad Pro.

Since the IPad Pro doesn’t have a fingerprint reader, they could have gone with a built in glass cover. It’s a good case but it still don’t seem as rugged as the older Defender cases used to be with the lined plastic and rubber outer shell. Overall though it works well and was easy to install and is better protected than nothing.

Bought for my iPad. Really disappointed in this case. It is flimsy on the side with the side flap. The case pulls away from the tablet and exposes the edge of the screen. One drop of the tablet from four feet caused the screen to crack and spider web from side to side. I’ve always used Defenders for my iPhones and swear by them. I’m not sure why this model was made with a weakness in the hardware.

Great product. This has saved my iPad from damage multiple times! I do recommend using the somewhat bulky screen cover to protect the screen, having damaged the screen once without it while not in use.

I love my Otter box for my phone so thought I would grab one for my new iPad. Great but for one major design flaw. To accommodate the magnetic pen, which I do not plan on having anyway, they made the right side different, not very protective at all. When I go to pick it up on that side, it pulls away from my iPad and the front cushion actually pulls away. If you use the pen, it’s probably great. If you don’t, skip this and get something else.

I’ve used OtterBox on most of my iPhones since 2011, and several on iPads since 2015. This was disappointing, it was sturdy and protected very well, but the down side is it’s very bulky. I had trouble getting it on my iPad Pro 11″ and even more trouble getting the ‘lid’ on and off. I think it’s because I have less strength in my hands now. So I had to return it and found another case better suited to my needs. I do recommend it for heavy duty protection.

Great case. I don’t really like the area near the Apple Pencil it is very thin between the screen and pencil with makes us lose and wobbly in that area. It gives you the impression it could break off. Other then that it’s a great case!

If you’ve ever pet an otter, you probably got bit! That has nothing to do with this product other than the name. Otterbox’s are known for their quality and durability. This product is no different. Of course, my wife already says the iPad is heavy, so she took this off to make it lighter and still doesn’t use the iPad, ugh.

A device without protection is a risk I can not take. As a tattoo artist, protection and precision is everything! I use my Defender Series Pro on my iPad to protect my investment. I’m either handing it off for clients to fill out consent forms, using the durable stand to prop it up as reference while tattooing, taking after photos of my work and disinfecting the case after every client. All that combined with the Apple Pen holder gives this case a 5 star review for me!

Great and as protective as Otterbox Defenders always are. The stand is my only issue, as tapping on the screen at all sends the iPad falling backwards. There is inadequate hold to prevent the iPad from easily falling back under moderate pressure. I had the equivalent for the iPad 6th generation and did not have the same problem.
