    This is a excellent battery. I to wait a long time before I could buy the battery. Nikon did not have any of these batteries until August 2020. Nikon price for this battery is over priced for a battery. Nikon only made this battery for Nikon Z50 Camera. I love the Nikon Z50 Camera it takes excellent pictures. I bought this battery to always have backup power. This battery does last much longer than any battery I have had for my Nikon Camera. I do not have a choice to recommend this to a friend because this is the only battery you can get for the camera. I do recommend the Nikon Z50 Camera.

    Nikon’s Z50 is a fine little camera but I feel they goofed making it so small that their en-el 15 size batteries wouldn’t fit. This battery is puny and the z50 being a mirrorless camera, it really doesn’t last very long. There’s no third party options at this point so I ponied up the 70 smackers to buy a second one of these to prolong shooting. It works just fine but again it’s pretty expensive for such a dinker.

    Battery had been out of stock everywhere. Bestbuy.com allows you to sign up for notifications when items are back in stock. I received an email when they had some, placed the order and a few days later received the item. This is an OEM battery from Nikon that works great in my Nikon Z50!

    Good battery. I haven’t had the opportunity to test it out to its full capacity, however, it held up well for a 3-hour shoot I had to do. I didn’t need to change/switch out the battery at all during that shoot.

    I have since purchased a second battery to have as a back-up.

    Excellent battery, but Nikon should keep up the production better. Had to wait forever to buy this battery due to being out of stock everywhere.

    Also, it’s overpriced. Come on…

    Glad I got an extra battery to have handy as the Z50 battery goes quickly between taking pictures and downloading them. It also seems to last longer than the one that came with the camera.

    So glad to have REAL Nikon batteries in stock again. Do not go off-brand. Buy from a real Nikon dealer (like Best Buy!). Sad but true there is a lot of counterfeit items out there. My Z50 eats batteries compared to my old D7200 and I’m thankful for a back up.

    Original Nikon battery for the Nikon Z 50 mirrorless camera [etc.] It’s helpful to always have a second battery in case the first one runs out. Maybe more than one extra, if you do a lot of video. Anyhow, the battery works great, as expected. Sometimes, extra batteries have been hard to find, so I was happy to find it in stock.

    Geniune Nikon. If there are ever any issues it’s on Nikon. Use an aftermarket battery to save 20 or 30 bucks and it could cost hundreds if there is any damaging malfunction…Works and functions reliably as it should and holds a good charge.

    Fantastic little battery. Got the first one as part of the Z50 two lens kit and decided to get another since I was going on vacation. I ended up not needing to swap the battery out because the life on just one of these is so solid. Definitely recommend!
