    Super fast autofocus and sharp images, especially in the sweet spot. The only drawback I can see is that it is longer and heavier than it’s non-VR predecessor.

    Still new to using! But I think because I’m used to prime lenses I am still getting used to zooming & focusing so I’ve struggled some. Other than that, I love the range options for weddings and quality is great. 2.8 is perfect for ceremony and receptions!

    I was very amazed by this lens. It’s sharp and quick on my Nikon d850. I like that it has a vibration switch too or the VR. The 24-70mm lens is always a great option because it practically does it all. It’s a workhorse.

    This lens is truly amazing. I had the Tamron 24-70 2.8 for a couple of years and it started to miss focus too many times recently. I bought this and I dont regret it one bit. I wish I bought this first because the quality is outstanding. This will take your weddings, senior portraits and landscapes to another level.

    Great lens, works perfectly well on full frame and crop sensor cameras. Incredibly well built. You can feel the metal When you hold it. Personally it was a bit too heavy for me to handle. Weight balance was a bit off as this lens weighed twice the weight of ny camera body.

    I bought this lens to use on my Nikon D850 DSLR. I was hesitant because a few reviews said it wasn’t pin sharp in the middle of the picture. I have spent 2 months testing this lens in every way I can think of and IT IS pin sharp not only in the middle but to the edges, which I understand the lens it replaces was sharp in the middle but lost some toward edges. Congrats to Nikon for designing as they did. Quality build and smooth to use. It is a little heavy but I love the weight for stability when hand holding shots. Glass is heavy, it comes with the territory on a quality lens, IMO! It is a large lens and I love it. Delighted I bought it!

    Absolutely love this lens. It is a high quality lens and has a high quality price. It is a bit heavier than most of my lens but it takes get photos. Still getting use to it but so far love it. It makes take good shots very easy. It is a great match for my Nikon D850.

    I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend and at first he said it wasn’t something that he would use very often and asked if he could return it. But after he tried it with his Nikon and tested it in the back yard he was convinced not to return it. The pictures are amazing, really adds a whole new dimension to his photography. Not only is he using it, he bought a filter for it also 😉

    This was an update, replacement for older version of this lens. I am a Nikon shooter, who matches lenses to my Nikon cameras. This lens is perfect for my D750/850 cameras. It works well with my D7000/D90 DX models as well. The only draw back for most folks, might be it is heavier than the cameras. But man, it is great through all of the Fstops. Crisp/sharp, and the dynamic colors on my D850/750 is off the charts. even though it is heavy, I love it. I only wish I could find a lens ring so I could mount it to my tripods. This lens has no equal in my view in the 24-70 lens range.
