    Worked great for about 6 months and then started dying periodically. I would have to restart the router at least once a day

    Had a several year old Netgear router, and wanted to upgrade. This router has alot of new features, and was really after the parental protection for kids. Setup was a little involved then the older one, but not to bad if you take your time. Took maybe 10 minutes all together.

    I finally jumped on the WI-FI 6 band wagon and replaced an aging Netgear Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-band router with this NightHawk AX6600 Tri-band router and I couldn’t be happier. Over the years, Netgear has had issues with software updates on their older routers, but with the new Nighthawk AX series, these routers have enough memory and processing power to perform well and support more devices than the previous Nighthawk AC series.
    I currently have 45 devices throughout the house connected to the router and I have not noticed any issues with dropping connections or lagging while streaming TV shows or with the guys playing video games.
    This was well worth the upgrade.

    Our last router was 6 yrs old so this one greatly improved our performance and speed. Very easy to install using previous app, and great security features and updates. Very impressive router and recommend to anyone looking for new upgrades to a 2700sf living area single story home.

    I bought this router in order to save on internet provider rental costs and I’m glad I did. Not only is it compatible with Windstream fiber but the range reaches all the out to my detached garage! The router is handling all of my home security devices well, and the signal remains strong. A very good investment and I highly recommend the Nighthawk router.

    Works great! My other Router was old and kept dropping signal so this one was much needed. Easy to set up with the APP. Works well with my Ring camera and a 2500 square foot house.

    Sopped working after 3 months and after Netgear charged me to get tech support, they blamed my internet provider. Called internet provider, who said everything looks good from their end, it MUST be the router! Long story short, I bought a high proceed router just to get screwed out of MORE money and I have no internet in my home… Rip Off Artists!

    I’m with starlink and I use to get 15-20 Mbps and about 7 Mbps on the upload my room and now I have the netgear try band Wi-Fi 6 router bit I get about 200-300mbps and my upload is 15-30 Mbps my room

    I had a problem unrelated to the router which the tech support folks walked me through. Once that was fixed, the setup was extremely easy and quick. I don’t like the way Netgear pushes the added Armor stuff, but that has nothing to do with the basic functionality of the router. So, 5 stars.

    This was a great purchase for the price. The range of this Wi-Fi covers my entire house without any boosters. It also has 3 bands to accommodate all the entities in our house that are on Wi-Fi. I would recommend for anyone on a Budget.

    Our speeds have more than doubled since switching to this router. I love that I can have my work equipment on one part of the network while my family runs on a separate part. You can even set up a separate guest WiFi and control the speed and not have to share your main password. Phenomenal!

    what is it with routers and just not working for more than 8 months

    Worked well for almost a year, but now I can’t log in to it anymore. You have to log in through the Internet (???) and even when it connects to the Internet, it just says “something happened” and fails. I called their support but it was useless and they want me to pay even though it’s less than a year old.
