    Product works well but if your need is to have same SID then please do not buy this product. It works for me as I needed a separate SSID so this worked well. Overall great product.

    Since I bought this item I have not been able to connected to the wifi. The instructions say to keep it close to the router while installation and connect with the netgear_EXT AND open a Browser page to ping the item, but I do that I won’t have wifi. I had tried many times and it burns my brain up.

    In my house, it doesn’t extend the signal as far as I expected. For approximately 30 feet I only get fair signal.

    So far, not blown away by it. TV still drops off the app and buffers. Then have to go back and reconnect. Guess I won’t win gift card.

    The product works very well. I wanted to be able to have coverage outside and it accomplishes that. The only thing I would advise is that you contact the company by phone if you have a problem.. The website included in the instructions leads to a service that helps but is expensive and tries to have you pay a monthly fee.

    I have Fios and there was no easy wsp button to push to sync on router. I am not tech savvy. I tried the web connection to try to sync, but was a loser. Maybe this device is not for fios owners

    Range was not as expected. I live in a two bedroom apartment and i coukdnt have any walls in between the router and the computer. I returned item for a better wifi adapter for a pc and that gave a better signal. Also was kind of a pain to set up, had to use totally different set up to connect to internet.

    The extender did connect to the wifi during the setup but it did not amplify or improve the wifi. Everytime the device was plugged in I had no wifi at the property. However the wifi modem worked perfectly just by itself. I wouldn’t recommend it.

    No problems have occured for a a few weeks now! Its best to turn off your phone signal or use a device that only uses wifi for the best and quickest way to set it up tho. I had to do some digging to figure it out and for that i give it 4 stars.

    Once we got the placement right, the extender works great! Just make sure you have it close enough to your router. Otherwise, the connection will be slow.

    We purchased this to use the neighbors Wi-Fi when we were moving out of a house and had no Wi-Fi service for a few days. Worked great, grabbed signal and repeated very strong signal to us.
    Placement is key with this extender if you have a long distance to the router. Think about how many walls and how much distance.
