    Bought for my condo as I needed a managed switch. I had a little issue with discovering it on the network to begin with, but after fixing my laptop Nic, works perfect.

    I was having issues with my wired network connected to my game consoles and TV. I switched from an unmanaged switch to a managed switch, so that I could verify what the port speed was. This managed switch helped me troubleshoot that I had a bad CAT7 cable, so I replaced with a new CAT8 cable. Gigabit connection restored after!

    Netgear is my brand of choice with networking equipment. They always have great products.

    This works great as expected. All of my ethernet cables are in the attic. This thing is toughing it out in a South Texas Attic. As of this post, its 103 outside and the switch is still working.
    I have 1gbps internet and it’s not a bottleneck on the network. If you have faster than 1gbps then you should get the 2.5gb ports.

    I got this switch to configure a simple VLAN in my home office network. The switch does a spectacular job and was fairly easy to set up.

    It works as it should. I gave it only 4 starts for 2 reasons:
    1- the switch does not have a port assigned to internet cable coming from the modem.
    2- a quick reference guide would be helpful.

    The provider I work with doesn’t help set up ethernet even though it is advertised and even sent in when I moved in so hence this had to be self done, the product worked wonderfully and is a great price !

    Honestly wasnt expecting much out of this Cheap Netgear Managed Switch, but its able to do a lot more than what I needed (bandwidth limiting). Highly recommended if you dont need enterprise level equipment.
