    The Netgear 8 port switch is a true workhorse. Flawless operation and it’s plug and play. Another great plus is that it was available in-store. I would recommend this to anyone needing an 8 port gig switch.

    Bestbuy, selling a used product as new on the shelf it a terrible practice. I just bought this switch today. Opened the box and its already been opened, the cord is unraveled, the sticker on the plastic bag is cut. You’ve just made up my mind, from now on im making my purchases on Amazon.com, if i wanted used i would shop in the open box department. This is why your business is loosing customers to online shopping.

    Bought it in January and it died in October. No idea why but started making a buzzing sound then all lights are off. I can power cycle it off/on and it works for a couple minutes then dies again.

    Over the past few years I have run cat 6 shielded cable to every room in my home. They all connect to a central set of 2 Netgear switches, which then connect to my ISP box. The quality and speed has been good.
