Pros
– Biking is my primary form of exercise and brewing quick espresso shots or coffee in the morning before each ride is very useful and satisfying
– I like the convenience of quick single-served cups of coffee
– I like the overall design and convenience of having two machines in one
– I go to school early in the morning so having fast coffee is very beneficial if I ever need it (especially before tests)
Cons
– The coffee does taste a bit more “acidic” than other coffee I have had before. It was very noticeable with the Caramel (Caramelizio) and the Pumpkin Spice coffee. This is even after using a hazelnut creamer as well. (I use 3-4 tablespoons)
– Can be expensive depending on the drinker (in my case not so much since I don’t drink it daily)
– POSSIBLE CON: The creme layer is more like a foam than anything so if that bothers people then that could steer them away from this machine. For me it doesn’t matter and I rather enjoy the foam-like layer
– POSSIBLE CON: The temperature of the coffee usually hits between 165-175 F (which is an “improvement” over the previous vertuoline)

This cheaply made crap lasted a year and half. I only used it 2-3 times a week. Contacted Nespresso and receive a refurbished one. When through the washing process with water and black gunk was continoulsy coming out after 10 cycles…. Then it broke again. This is garbage.

The taste of the coffee that this machine makes is ridiculously good. Better than the super quality local hipster coffee shops I usually go to. The espresso is rich, flavorful, and loaded with crema. Simply put, the coffee this makes is fantastic.
Operation is simple. Put some water in the left side tank, put an espresso capsule up top, turn the lid, and press go. Within a minute you have a shot of fantastic espresso (or a cup of very very good coffee). When you open the lid again, the used pod drops into the tank on the right. No mess, no cleanup. If you want to clean the system, just press the top button three times fast. It runs through a cleaning cycle to ensure that you dont have any old coffee residue next time you brew.
I have this paired with Nespresso’s aerocinno machine, which does a wonderful job making hot frothed milk. Coupled with this brewer, I have a coffee shop quality cappucinno at home. It is incredible how delicious it is.

Great coffee maker but expensive cups to insert. The milk frother works pretty good and I enjoy a Latte with this instead of paying 4 times more from Chain Coffee shops.
