The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the placement of the Wi-Fi antennae causing the cables to be in the way of them and the fact that the antennae can’t be locked in place.

Very solid motherboard. Has all the connections I need and works flawlessly. What more can you ask? Uses DDR5 ram.

Good motherboard with Bluetooth and WiFi built in. DdR4 ram will not fit on this version. There are also other MSI Z690 lga 1700 versions available that do/don’t have built in Bluetooth/WiFi and/or utilizes DDR4 ram if you just need to swap over your old DDR4 ram for your MoBo upgrade. Be sure to go to the manufacturer’s website to download the updated BIOS, Firmware, and other drivers for flawless integration.

It only has a heatsink for one of the 4 m.2 slots. It comes with a disk for drivers which can be a pain it should have used a thumb drive. M.2_3 is gen 3. The rest are gen 4. Which doesn’t make since the 4th should have been gen 3. The io is perfect in my opinion. But the board is good quality and supports the 12900k after a bios update that was not automatically downloaded by the way so that was kind of a pain because it was not working right. But for 220 this is a good deal even considering my complaints.

Great value for a Intel 1700 motherboard. I usually gravitate towards wifi for more convenience when setting up. DDR5 is more and more becoming the way to go with the prices coming down dramatically. This mobo handles overclocks pretty well on my 12900k. Overall, it’s a great value with solid performance. No RGB but i don’t care for that as much as on the motherboard.

I just recently put my build together within the past day, but I didn’t want to forget to review this.
It works, I think. I hooked everything up and was having issues getting into the BIOS. Just black screen for minutes with the VGA error LED on until Windows popped up. I went through extensive troubleshooting and the only thing that improve the situation was unplugging one of the 8-pin CPU connectors. There are two on this board. Upon boot/reset I still have the VGA error light appear but now it is only for 5-10 sec until Windows appears and it goes off. I’m still very unsure about my situation. In Windows, I was able to confirm all my components are working well. It’s just this motherboard. There are many issues online with this and the DDR4 versions and similar situations.
Overall I am able to turn the PC on and play games so far. So it does do it’s job I guess. I would highly recommend anyone spending just a little more on a different DDR5 LGA 1700 board. This Z-690 series seems to always come with some type of headache.

So far so good! It was easy to install and I haven’t had any issues. I added this motherboard with the nvidia rtx 7080ti and the intel 13700k. My build work great.

Great product. This mobo has a great bandwidth for using lots of different hardware. If you want to expand in the future, get this.

Board works but is not stable with a basic corsair vengeance ddr5 6000mhz cl36 ram kit. will take 2-3 minutes to ram train and fail and will only boot at 4800mhz.
