    The modem/router was easy to set up and has an excellent signal. It even reaches the patio. It is space-saving in size. The only drawback is that Motorola will not allow the use of symbols in the password (!,@,#, etc…)

    I would give it jo stars, but i cant. Absolute piece of CRAP!!! I am on my 3rd one in 4 months.. i would never buy this one agai and would definitely not recommend it to anyone..

    Works great w Xfinity. Activated using Xfinity app. Even able to connect Xfinity home security touch screen to wifi. 5ghz wifi is fast.

    So far it seems great! Set up through Xfinity was easy and everything was pretty straightforward. The only area that I can see now that can use improvement is making it easier to deal with updating the router/modem settings.

    Never got to connect to my internet. Xfinity claimed the upgraded system would not work with Xfinity internet. Could not return due to Xfinity took to long to figure it would not work. Had to eat the cost of the router. Only reason giving 1 star is because I couldn’t use it.

    The Motorola MG7700 worked and was easy to set up. It didn’t have quite as much range as our previous Netgear and occasionally struggled with my wife’s meetings in Teams so we gave it to our daughter and bought a Netgear which gets us back to the capability we had before.

    I was surprised to find that the quality of this (MG7700) was less than great. Casting to a television 8 feet away (empty air) didn’t work and linking a Lexmark printer never worked correctly.

    It worked fine for the first hour, despite the fact that the name of the WiFi could not be less than 6 characters unlike Netgear and other devices. However, after an hour of use, it got warm and stopped working well. Delivering about half the speed as compared to before. Had to return it.

    I really wanted this to work it was fast sometimes then it would be real slow and it would keep disconnecting I tried it for a week I went back and hook up my old 10 year old modem that actually works better at least it stays connected I returned it to the store

    I bought this router because my existing system was too slow for my WFH office. My limitation was having only comcast and a cable modem setup at home. This works great, no issues setting up w comcast and it is super fast.

    Plugged in the phone and it didn’t work. Speed is Ok as measured but coverage in the house was not as good as the Infinity modem it replaced.

    Seemed good, but kept dropping the line (Comcast). The problem is likely Comcast, but I have found a better suited router and purchased a separate modem. Don’t get a combo of any brand. If one goes, you have to replace the whole thing. And firmware is frequently update for both, so you’ll be limited. It seemed like a good model, but I discovered better.
