Used the new phone about a week. Nice. Looks good, Fast, Easy setup (let it copy everything including apps from the old phone). Some interesting new features that I am still learning about (ready for and new gestures). I recommend it as an upgrade to the more budget phones.

This thing’s replacing a Moto G6 Play from 2019. It requires 3 hands to shut off: push power while pushing vol up, while touching power off on the screen. 3 hands. Moronic. Phone sound quality irritatingly inferior to the G6. You have set up every single little thing – and figure out how to do it. After you’ve wasted a portion of your life fiddling around with that, it’ll flip back to prior settings, until you figure out still other settings to make your choices stick. Finicky and unintuitive; requires a night course in data dork tech design to master. The phone feels plasticy and whiffle-ball light. Cheap. Flimsy. Especially compared to the solidity of the G6. The thin frame and goofy beveled edges makes it hard to hold. It slips easily out of your hand. If you try to grasp it securely, your fingertips will touch the screen, interfering with whatever you’re doing, causing whatever you were doing to fail, and sending you unpredictably to somewhere or something else. This phone makes your life harder, rather than easier. It’s today’s tech equivalent of a hair shirt.

It seems they make changes for the sake of change that make upgrading to a newer device a way unnecessary ordeal. Otherwise, the display is good, battery life OK. And, it is lite weight. We have no regrets.

This is the best edge yet, super nice oled screen, 8gb of ram, 256gb of storage. oh ya, you can find cases now all day long on amazon and ebay, also screen protectors as well, make sure you get the super shields brand glass ones.

About the same size as my previous Moto Z3 but thinner. The rounded screen edge does make it difficult because you can’t hold it without it thinking your pushing/holding a button. When the phone doesn’t respond to touching, you need to move your fingers to release the held buttons. Problem is better after adding a protective case and screen protector. Not a real problem, once I figured out why the phone doesn’t always respond to my touch. I was able to transfer my apps and files myself without issue.

Was disappointed that there was no SD slot in this model, but the included 256GB is probably more than I should need. My only other gripe is trying to find cases because when I search I only get Edge+ options. Lots of ways to customize the screen and make it yours. Pics are super sharp.

The phone is ok for what it is. I got this phone as upgrade from 2021 moto edge it has most of same features and handling but my biggest issue is the call quality. Whenever I speaking the other side cannot hear me or have speak really loud. On speaker phone it there no point in using because they cannot hear at all.
