    Don’t settle for a sub-par antenna adapter. Getting a quality adapter is a must when trying to swap out head units, especially in modern foreign cars.

    This was a waste of my time. I ordered a new radio and needed it to be installed. Best Buy had to order the parts and when I told them I wouldn’t be available for a week they still sent back my order when I didn’t come in to pick it up in the middle of the week when I wasn’t available.

    The reception is slightly better than the antenna they put in first. When I complained about reception they changed out the antenna to this one, a dual Farka and the reception improved. Still not as good as my original Audi radio but I love the new Pioneer with Apple play

    You have to have it in order for the radio to receive AM/FM channels so it does work as it is supposed to.

    Works well with my radio. This was included in the package by the salesperson.

    The camera works. When I put the car in reverse, it shows the image of the area behind the car.

    What doesn’t work well are the “back up lines” show where it’s safe vs. not safe to back, and the “turn indicators” that track safe turns. The lines are WAY off.

    But it works.

    I was installing a new Pioneer CD/Radio NEX 1500 in a 09 VW Eos which has 2 antenna leads, I had to chisel the plastic end a bit in order to fit it onto the car antennas and wrapped it with a zip tie and electrical tape, it works but required obvious modification even though it states it fits my car. I did have to wire the blue wire to the radio head unit blue wire as this supplies power for the built in amp, I was not receiving AM radio signals with this configuration only FM.
