This dryer is awesome! It’s really big for our needs and does a great job. I love all the different functions it has. I’m looking forward to hopefully many years of service. Our other dryer is also a Maytag and it’s still going. The only trouble we had with that one is one of the tumblers in it broke but even that can easily be fixed.The only reason we replaced it is because we got a new Maytag washer and we wanted the new dryer to go with it. We also love our new washing machine as well and are looking forward to many years of service as well.

This washing machine would not work when delivered. The Gerk Squad had to take it back to the warehouse.

Piece of garbage. Purchased in August 2020. Already needed to purchase replacement parts. Dryer is rattling, humming, and squealing. Pretty poor considering its a Maytag. No good brand names left. First dryer was 30 years old never had an issue.

Replaced our old dryer, which was 10+ years old. This works great, has sensors that adjust drying time based on moisture content, and is way more efficient than our old one. Its also huge, which is great for families that do lots of laundry.

This line of Maytag may possibly be the worst washer and dryer set I’ve ever purchased. Unfortunately we had high hopes, but this equipment just does not perform. Take two cycles to dry a load of towels. Cannot wash a blanket without out multiple error codes and resets. I had LG products before this and had none of these issues. Thanks

A plus is lots of drying options to select from. Wish they had kept the flat top rather than slant. If you do not want the dryer light to stay on while using the dryer you always need to select off with each load though I can see that having the light on while running would be a plus to one who is hard of hearing.

this dryer is noisy when running to dry clothes. The first dryer delivered had to be replaced because the machine / drum made a “thunking” noise every revolution.

I like this washing machine, however, it was definitely a learning curve getting used to the perfect dry cycle for a large load.
The normal settings don’t dry a huge load well. I was having to run the cycle again. However, once I found the perfect settings, it’s been working great ever since I love the way the door opens.
