    When I first received this stove it was damaged (large dent on side) and had to wait a month to get it switched for a new one. Exactly a month later while cooking dinner the burners suddenly quit working on me. For it to be so expensive of a brand and it being said it is a very good brand I hate having to keep having issues with it. I am a big cooker and baker and had researched for a quality stove but unfortunately this one is not one I can recommend.

    We bought this with the set. We love this stove. I love the warmer burner in the back. This is the first electric stove that I haven’t had to learn to cook again. I always burn stuff with electric stoves.

    The buttons on the panel are VERY hard to push and set. The automatic oven cleaning is AWFUL. It’s an okay range. Not Great

    Needed new stove and opted for more modern version. Built in timers very helpful so food can be ready and warm, but not burned, when desired. Oven size (inside) is great. Control panel takes a little getting used to, but is intuitive and helpful. Be sure and get Geek Squad protection plan to help with any subsequent needs.

    I’ve only had this stove for about a month but so far it’s been great. Heating elements warm uniformly. So far the stove top is easy to clean using a stove top cleaner. Haven’t used the convection oven yet so I can’t comment on that. Fingerprint proof exterior is great. Best Buy delivery team was outstanding!

    GOOD STOVE, BUT DON’T CARE FOR THE BURNERS. THE ONE BIG BURNER CAN BE VERY CONFUSING AS TO WHAT TO SET IT AT. THE CONVECTION OVEN TAKES AWHILE TO GET USED TO. ALL IN ALL IT HAS BEEN GOOD

    We bought the full set of Maytag (Whirlpool) range, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. After two years, the control board went out in the range. Maytag (nor Best Buy) won’t stand behind their product. That 10-year parts warranty they claim only covers certain parts. Of course, the $350 control board that’s half the cost of the range isn’t covered. It’s a known problem that is so bad they can’t keep the boards in stock at any supplier (yes, all the online ones too). As for the details on our board, the bake relay on the board appears to be bad. The convection bake, convection broil, and broil work OK. The oven won’t get any hotter than 280 deg. F on bake. The Auto diagnostics show a failure K2 P1-4. The part you’ll need is WPW10340323.

    This range has the “aqualift” self-cleaning oven feature. It’s not self cleaning. Aqualift doesn’t work, and additionally, Maytag says not to use oven cleaner on it.

    Aqualift does nothing to clean the walls, back or glass of the oven, and requires scrubbing the inside of the oven, according to the instructions.

    In Canada, Whirlpool is offering a 60 day money-back guarantee on the Aqualift technology, due to complaints. No such luck in the US.

    This was an upgrade from my old electric coil stove appliance. It has a lot of features. Not really that necessary but nice to have some bells and whistles. The oven is huge! The unit itself feels sturdy and is America the great built. Knobs don’t feel cheap. The top burners take awhile to heat up and cooking time and heat range take time getting used to. The glass top is kind of difficult to keep clean. I haven’t cleaned the oven yet but doesn’t seem like it is too difficult because of how much bigger it is. I’ve used baking soda and the magic eraser to clean the glass top. The only con I have is you can’t use cast iron. It will scratch the surface and leave unsightly marks that you cannot unsee. Overall it’s a good stove and for what it is I am happy but for some reason it does have me looking elsewhere in the future.

    This is really a nice stove. Works well. Burners heat up quickly. Variety of burners – can use for larger or smaller pots. Also a warming burner. Steady, accurate oven temps. Would have given it five stars, but the top is hard to clean. Best results are with a cleaner made specifically for stove tops. And you have to scrub to remove spots. Best results after cleaning the top is to dry with a microfiber cloth – leaves no streaks. Also have to be careful not to slide a heavy pan, like cast iron, across the surface – it will scratch the surface. But have had it for a few months and very satisfied with it.

    This range is so beautiful. Classy clean lines and great display mode. It took a little bit to get used to the electronic settings after always using dials before. Once you’re used to it, there is no going back. My roasts have never turned out so perfect.

    This says my purchase date was 5/12 it was 5/7 I have scheduled delivery multiple times and have not got my oven. Today is 5/15,. Did the delivery company steal it? Where is my oven?

    You won’t lack for space with this oven and will be the star at Thanksgiving Day dinner. The range top has 5 burners with 1 being a warmer. It’s a shatter proof glass top range with radiant burners and easy to clean.

    I got the stove over two years ago it’s been a good stove I just have one complain that I could never get it to get clean and sparkly like it was the day I bought it there’s scratches that won’t go away and one burner was always a little out even though it heats up perfectly fine but there’s like a black spot in there when I use it when I put it on every time even though I have a use the stove it works really good but if I can go back I would choose a different one

    Purchased all Maytag appliances when we bought our house 4 years ago. Of the 6 appliances we purchased (Fridge, dishwasher, this electric oven range, over range microwave, and commercial washer and dryer) the dishwasher is the only one we haven’t had problems with…yet!!! This range has been a nightmare from the beginning! Only 1 eye has worked consistently in 4 years. Last night, I was about to place a cheesecake in the oven for our Christmas dinner and the oven started pouring copious amounts of smoke throughout my house when I turned it on to preheat. Turned it off, ran a cleaning cycle and tried again, and once again smoke began pouring throughout the house. The inside of this rarely used oven is full of rust, just like the commercial washing machine in my laundry room, which by the way, began to rust on the outside after only 1 month of use. Did I mention the garbage fridge whose door alarm began going off for no reason the first month we purchased it and the only fix was to put a piece of duct tape over the sensor inside the fridge to turn the stupid thing off??? I’m done with Maytag! Thanks for ruining Christmas Maytag!!!!

    Love the features and design of the range, but after 17 months, it has had catastrophic failures twice over (not covered by the fake 10yr warranty – only covers 3 items). I paid to repair it once, won’t be doing so again. Maytag, if you are reading this, you’ve lost a customer for life (My family from my grandparents onward have always bought Maytag). My sister’s refrigerator and microwave all died within 2 years, and my parents front load washer and dryer all died within 1.5 years.

    We purchased the range because of the features and styling. Our entire family found the appliance easy to use, accurate temperature and easy to clean.

    2 years and 11 months after the purchase it appears the oven cannot heat past 325 degrees.

    Brand new and the oven doesn’t work… it takes an hour to preheat and doesn’t actually get to the temperature it displays. Do not buy.

    If you use your oven often, then this range is going to give you problems. It has nice features, but the quality is not at the standard I expected. I have experienced multiple issues after 3 years of use. The oven element and the electronic control board both failed. The warranty does not cover electronic components after the first year of ownership, so to replace the control board is not worth it.

    Over complicated. Works well but the glass top doesn’t appear to stay clean and polished. So concerned with durability longterm. The display panel touchpad has concerns about longevity. but all it has to do is heat up and cook things, can’t be that difficult. Reliability should be good. Also, everything is black with stainless front and top… fridge is dark grey and stainless. not sure why the difference. prefer the dark grey..

    This stove didn’t last four years. The oven temperature has never been consistent. The oven had a short and could have burned my house down. I will NEVER buy a Maytag or Whirlpool product again.

    Bottom draw doesn’t line up, maintenance tried to fix it, and tried 5 other draws! Still doesn’t line up perfectly! Maytag make better products before you send them out! Definitely of insanity??? Oven and stove good

    It’s decent. The top marks up very easy just from cooking, non abrasive cleaners do not touch the damage. The convection oven is excellent, my favorite part of the unit. It is extremely large and an awesome set up with the drop down rack for roasting pans. It does not have the conventional clean mode, just the aqua lift, which is not very exciting. I am also having an issue with the door separating on one side, which shouldn’t happen with a 1 year old oven. All in all, far superior to the 2 year old Samsung Flex Duo it replaced, but still not “amazing”.

    Maytag stove ordered 9/1. To be delivered in 1 week. 2 days later told it would be in 2 weeks. Arrived 10/2. DAMAGED. Bottom drawer 5/8” off. Didn’t close. Re ordered. Date changed 2x. Now told it will be 11/7. Saw 3 others made @ same plant with same defect in showroom. Worried next 1 will be faulty
