Love, love, love my new Maytag washer! It gives me lots of options from a Deep Fill Option to a built-in water faucet to that can rinse stains to pretreat that grass or BBQ stain. If you download the App, you can remotely start or stop the washer and get end of cycle notifications. Tha app also allows you to troubleshoot issues if needed.

Just when I thought I was getting the greatest bestest washer it breaks down 5 days agter delivery. The drum came loose and the washer seem like it was going to take off running and just stopped working. It said to even out load but the washer was half ways full and small garments and just wouldn’t work. And to top it off Maytag has an extreme difficult way to get it repair you have to call Maytag and they do their own repairs even with geek squad extended warranty. Returned it for an LG.

Washing bulky loads is PAINFUL usingvthis machine. No complaints with smaller loads but I dread having to wash bankets and comforters. Keeps going off balance. Has a bulky setting, does not work well. And yes, I’m balancing the load.

Its look great and thats about it. It simply does not wash the clothes. Clothes comes out dry or even with detergent residue on it. Even worst, if you do a load with bleach beforehand, bleach residue can get on your second load. Its damaged our clothes on a few occasions. Im biting the bullet and taking a loss and replacing it with an LG. Waste of money! Youve been warned, stay away! Others have said the same thing and I should have listened.

I haven’t had this washer for 9 months and already I’m ready to ditch it! When it agitates it makes the loudest noise as if there are chains dragging in the bottom of the washer basin. It also never adds enough water to the clothes so they can be washed throughly. I can’t take it anymore!!! I called a tech to see what is causing all of the noise and why it’s doing what it is. I think I may need a replacement. Putting up with this too long already.

I was a little nervous after getting home and reading reviews. We have owned it a couple weeks now and it has already got quite a bit of use. We are happy with it. Have not had any issues with clothes being dry or soap left in laundry. We do not load it more than half full.

This washer makes a clunking sound while I’m wash cycle. I made a service call for which they ordered replacement parts. After waiting a few weeks the parts were replaced. I immediately started a load and found the same clunking noise as if nothing was replaced. I do not recommend this washer do to the magnetic drive which is known to be noisy. The washer sounds broke and it is less than a year old.

every single negative review is true. I’ve been using it for less than 2 years. Washer is broken. The middle part broke while washing my sweater. Ruines my clothes all the time. It gets stuck around it. Makes Loud noises. You simply can’t even wash a regular adidas men’s sweater without it coming out looking like it’s the oldest and most worn item you own. I’m so sad, I wish I could return this and exchange it with something else. How I have to wait and see if it can be fixed by geek squad.

Model no MVW7230HCO maytag washing maching with 10 year watanty, bought before 4 month has a defect from factory with part no W11478526 as the washer top load now is not working stating eror code F2E2, the part number was ordered and still waiting 2 weeks gone, family of four runing from one laundry store to onother store having brand new washing maching worthing $1200 with instalation siting at home. Best Buy said they do not have service at home and threw me to manufucturer and manfucutrer force me to wait for how long God knows, am afraid they will let me wait for 10years, please do kot buy maytag washing machine and avoid buying expensive itmes from bestbuy.

Our king-sized converter fits into the large tub around its agitator and doesn’t have “balance” issues. Our clothes are clean, and you don’t hear the washing machine while it’s cleaning in the nearby gathering room. Simple and easy to operate too!

The capacity is amazing, but this thing is CONSTANTLY unbalanced no matter how carefully I distribute the clothes. I don’t over fill it either, there’s plenty of space at the top. I have at least 3-4 loads a week that I have to pull everything out and readjust for it to finish. Super annoying.

Two and a half years ago I chose to buy MAYTAG washing machine. Three weeks ago the washer acted as if no power was connected to it none of the buttons worked and the lid was locked shut. Since the washer still under warranty we paid. I called to the store. They send a technician to look at it, he say that the computer board has to be replaced. The week after I found out that the part I need is on backorder. Today 5-02-23 after 3 week waiting I called to MayTag customer service and being told I have to wait for two more weeks. The whole experience has been an issue, that has not yet to be resolved. I only hope they will fix it soon,because I fear the washer will be moldy due to the lid being locked for a couple weeks now. It’s cost us $100 just to use the laundry mat during these weeks of waiting, not to mention stress for a working family with three children.

This washer is not very great. If you use powder soap, there will be a residue of it on the clothes as well as on the top area of the washer. I have sometimes do a second “quick was” to get rid of the soap residue.

Overall I am very happy with the machine. The only thing I’d would have liked to see is more detail in the instructions about each of the settings. Use of the fabric softener feature and explanation of the and better diagram of the dispenser for it. I love the size of the drum and the see through top!!

Right now I’m going with good and I hope it stays that way throughout the life of the washer. It isn’t anything special and performs as all the other models on the market. I doesn’t have that old time solid feel of a washer and I’m hoping it last for at least 10 years. So far it is doing well and washes the clothes that I have put in it pretty well. It does take some getting used to at first as it isn’t like the old washers that fill up and then run. This one kind of fills a little then runs then fills up more then runs and so on until it’s comfortable with the amount of water it has in the tub. The controls are simple enough but even at that my older mother has trouble with how this operates, not sure if it’s just still too new or she’s going to have trouble moving forward, time will tell on that one. I’ve explained several times and I foresee explaining more times that the buttons aren’t push buttons but touch enabled. The other one is to start the washer that you have to touch the on button until the countdown ends and the machine starts. Not sure why this is programmed like that but I even feel it is an annoyance. Touching start should just start the machine without that lag. Overall right now I would say it’s a good machine but we’ve only had it for a few weeks at the time of this writing.

Purchased this washer Dec 30, 2022. Worst buying decision of my life and I’m a lifelong Maytag customer. We hate this washer. Smart washer? What a joke!! Takes forever to run a load. Beats the clothes to death because it starts agitating without water while it senses the load. Water level doesn’t even cover the clothes unless you over-ride the settings with Max Fill option and then it still doesn’t fill the washer like the older units did. They’re trying to force us to save water to the point that the washer stops functioning as a washer and starts destroying your clothes. Also, about once every two weeks or so, the washer needs to be cleaned and will not allow you to proceed with the current load until you empty the tub and a cleaning cycle has run. Terrible technology. Terrible product. DO NOT BUY A SMART WASHER of any brand.

It cleans good, but is not very quiet. It is much louder than my last washer that was 7 years old. It also gives the unbalanced load error frequently for me when I’m washing my dog beds and blankets which i do frequently. This is very frustrating. Again never had this issue except for one time washing a very large comforter in my last washer. Pretty disappointed in this machine.

The customer experience should have been considered in the design. This has a feel of “well engineered” but “poorly designed.”
Imagine you’re running out to the gym with a long list of things to accomplish on a tight schedule. You toss in your clothes, hit start and leave.
Unbeknownst to you, a few minutes later your washer has decided it needs to be cleaned first. So when you get back, you need go unload everythings and wash it with it’s specific cleaner for an hour before you can finally start this chore.
There is no way to skip, delay or cancel this process. It’s just poorly designed. Skip it.

Horrible. Since year one we’ve had problems with this machine. Had to call support out and because of pandemic they didn’t fix all of it. Afterwards the warranty expired and I was too late to fix it fully. stuck with a faulty machine one doing one function. Now exactly after 3 years the machine is DEAD. Not going to bother fixing it but will buy a new machine from another manufacturer.

Spent more money because of the brand and size but it came back to haunt me.
I had a LG for 5 years before issues started to arise. While this Maytag malfunctioned after 4 months of use.
Maytag sent a local company to repair the unit but they needed to order a part which would take a week. After the week, they came by to install when they overlooked another faulty part. This continues for another 4 weeks.
After buying a 900 dollar washer I have been doing my laundry at a Laundromat which sets me back 50-75 dollars a week.
Matag won’t send me another washer until the repair company deems the washer unfixable but the repair company can only change out parts.
I’m stuck with the hunk of junk and Maytag will not do anything about it .
This has continued to be a nightmare! Don’t do it find another brand,by the way when I first bought this it because of the positive reviews. Sadly I should have trusted the negative ones. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone! Especially those with bigger families like mine.

Im so sad. I purchased this washer in full confidence for $1,099.99 in March of 2021. Today 1/22/24, barely 2 years later the motor needs to be replaced according to Appliance & Refrigeration Hospital. They estimate that it will cost $650-$700 because the part is not covered under warranty. Pretty much the cost of a new washer. It is difficult to get a hold of Maytag and no one seems to want to help unless I’m paying $$$. Im so disappointed, we are at a major loss. Please beware of buying this product
