    This extender is great for the price and potentially outclasses contenders in the same price range. The 5GHz bandwidth works exceptionally well with consoles and smart tv’s (WiFi 6 also works like a charm). Now the only problem I’ve had is logging onto the settings url for the extender, although I am connected to the network on my phone and computer it says that I have to be on the same network to log onto the settings url. I’ve factory reset the extender 3-4 times and still no luck. Just a heads up, but it’s nothing detrimental; considering the device comes preset with settings best optimized for simplicity and usability.

    Wifi could be a little stronger. I have it right outside my door and I only get a ”good” signal. Don’t know what others were talking about about the setup—I found it very easy.

    Was hesitant to buy this as i frlt itbeouldnt eirk but i was wrimg n this device is great. We hot the xbox setup on porch n the wifi was spotty coming from the main house n made gaming horrible online with lag but with this device, it makes it wired and now we hsve zero lag n play online seamlessly

    I previously had a NetGear extender that whenever my WiFi router rebooted, it did not automatically reconnect. Since my WiFi router is a Linksys, I thought I’d give this one a try and I am glad I did! This Linksys – Max Stream has been rock solid since the initial setup, which by the way, was straightforward and easy to do. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

    I had to move my desktop out of the guest room and into the living room, away from the router. I now have the option to work from anywhere in the house (near a power outlet still). The added wifi coverage for my mobile devices is a bonus.

    The Linksys range extender was just the thing to fill in a couple of areas where our main router was not quite giving a full signal. It was very easy to set up right out of the box.
    The only thing keeping it from a 5-star rating is its size.

    I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THATS A PLUG AND GO NOT THIS ITEM SEVERAL ON AND OFF, WITH TOWER, FINALLY 20 TO 30 IT WORKED. HOWEVER HADNT HEARD OF ANY DROPS.

    This exactly what I needed. Was not getting any wifi in my garage. Installed this in my laundry room next to my garage. Easy to install.

    very easy to set up and works very nice. However, the more you move it away from the source, the weaker the signal. This is good for short spans over doing the Mesh system where your signal strength is not reduced. Mesh is better and covers a wider area than the extender. for the extender for example, I put it in my garage which is half the distance from the router in the house. I also have a POD in the garage as well. When asked to connect, it still shows the original Router over the Extender. it showed both networks, but showed the extender as weaker than the main router.
