This little machine is powerful! And the chimes to alert you when your food is done or if you’ve left it too long is delightful. It even chimes halfway to let you know to stir or flip. I am very happy with this purchase.

I really like this oven and the inverter tech. Also I had limited space and this fit perfectly. However, it is missing a feature I have used on previous ovens for years. You can’t run two programs sequentially. For example, run for two min on high and then three min at 50%. There’s a learning curve for the controls but I find I like them.

Lasted four years and then almost caught fire…I don’t always stay in the kitchen when I warm something up in the microwave. Luckily I did this last time because it started sparking really bad. I only had my food in there for maybe 20 seconds at most when this started happening. I keep the microwave very clean so there was nothing in it that would have caused it. And yes I know better then to have anything metal in the microwave. There is a huge black spot on the inside of the microwave now too. I get I am out of my warranty but this should NOT have happened and a microwave should last longer then 4 years. Especially when we don’t use it that much.

The LG NeoChef .9 Cu. Ft. compact microwave is exactly what we were looking for in our new home. It is placed in a pantry below some upper cabinets that are fairly low (in a low ceiling height pantry). The controls are straight forward and operation seems excellent. We could all do with an option to silence the jingle that plays to signal the end of a heating.

We love this microwave. We have a small built-in “cabinet”, with a back opening, that we built for 20 plus year old microwave. We wanted a certain wattage that would fit and this did, with a few edits to the “cabinet”. It’s easy to work, with clear instructions, and I do not mind the little diddy that plays after your timing is done, or to remind you it’s done.

So I almost returned this because I got the smaller one instead of the bigger one until I asked myself “what exactly do I need all that space for?” This will fit a plate for a reheat and it’s incredibly simple to use and esthetically pleasing. Please take advantage of the slide feature, it makes it very easy to set the time. Also connect it to the app. There’s a lot of cool features there too

I was looking for a compact microwave and thought this would be perfect after reading the specs……measurements were different then what was in the discription…not by much but when I went to put it in place it was a bit to large. Also wattage was different then was in the specs in your sight….but still more then other compact microwave….. I’m sure this is a nice unit just not for me
