    It was easy to use and setup and windows 11using the usb external disk drive had no problem finding it

    It works well. I used it to load several older programs from CD/DVD to the new mini-desktop that lacks a CD/DVD media drive and played a few music CD’s in the office. Very much a plug and play device, Windows ID’d the device without any special set up required and with the high speed USB connections these days the programs loaded really fast.

    I used the External DVD Drive to set up my printer because my printer came with a CD driver and my new laptop had none. I was able to get it set up although it was a little hard to do. It may have been the fault of the printer, not the external drive

    I purchase this item on June 2022 and around March 2023 it stopped working and I had to go to Best Buy for them to get the dvd out of the player.

    I wouldn’t recommend this LG External USB 2.0 Double Layer DVD RW/Ram/ CD-RW Drive because the equipment stopped working.

    I was shipped a new DVD player after contacting LG. But, I haven’t used the new device yet. It is still in the box.

    Played only CD’s so far. Does fine with them. Runs on one USB port on my laptop. It warns some older pc’s may need two ports

    I had originally bought a Blu-Ray/DVD Player that would not work no matter what I tried to do. This one though, worked from the second I plugged it in. Awesome and easy to use player. I truly recommend this unit.

    Purchased a new computer that did not have a cd drive. I only need it to install existing software that I have on CD and I did not want to spend much for a drive. This was a good solution for my problem.

    I am very happy with this product. I and the wife each bought a new computer. Neither computer came with a disc drive but we have lots of software that is still on disc as well as music and photos. The external drive is convenient and quiet in operation. I still write DVDs to store photos from my hobby and this works great. I give this little external Disc Drive 5-Stars.

    It does the job! I was looking for a way to play my DVDs on my Windows 11 laptop and it is awesome. It isn’t as modern-looking as other more expensive options; it’s plastic/more retro-looking, like when DVDs were actually a popular thing which is kind of cool. It comes with a DVD that has media player software to download but it is insanely old and you have to pay to use it which was a hard pass so I just threw that away. I downloaded a free media player online instead called VLC which works perfectly with it to play both DVDs and CDs.
