This is a nice dryer. My old dryer had a de-tangle cycle that this one doesn’t. It would stop spinning for a few seconds and then reverse direction every 7 minutes. Nice feature, I miss that.

We replaced an older LG set that was still in excellent condition but was over 10ths old. We wash at least 1 full load per day so you can do the math but the LG gave us no problem and my daughter in law needed a washer/ dryer as she has a youngster. I guess my point is we were so pleased with our last LG purchase that a new set should takes us thru retirement with few issues. I like the new technology and app notifying us ehen load is done and the size is a bit bigger for added capacity for busy days. The delivery and set up by Best Buy went very well. Was timely snd professional answering any questions we had. Overall experience was excellent and product research allowed me to reduce my shopping time needs.

The reason for a Rating of two is, this was an open box purchase. Little did i know until i got it home the side was caved in as well as the Drum, had to pound side out best i could for the drum to be able to turn. i think the reason for open box needs to be a bit informative. Had i not been able to bang side out i would be stuck with it and out $700

I purchased this dryer as it went with the washing I purchased. It works well, has a variety of settings, but you have to get used to how those settings effect your clothes. Accidently chose the wrong setting and that shirt won’t fit a toddler. However, if you take the time to figure it out, it is a good, solid dryer and worth the purchase.

I am on my second DLEX4500 and the Turbo Steam function just comes out water. ZERO steam at any point of the dry cycle. I’m not sure if it even works the way LG states and shows in their Youtube videos. I have videos of what happens as well. Try it on your DLEX4500 and I bet you don’t get steam.

We have had no issues with the washer however the dryer is the WORST. If you need anything quick dried good luck. We have to dry clothes for over an hour and a half. And even then sometimes its still very damp. Ive had it since july 2022 and 8 months into owning it and then all the issues starter. Tried calling LG and they are zero help so good luck. Feels like we just set money on fire with this purchase. Now we have to buy a brand new dryer. Dont buy it. Read the other reviews seems like a very common issue.
