    Any appliance that lives up to its claims and makes my job as a workiing mom easier is the appliance for me!

    Bought this with the matching washer. I’m not convinced about the dryness sensor, even setting it 2 steps past “normal dry” some items are still slightly damp. Maybe I should try the timed dry but I haven’t done so yet. Some of the programs are contrary to my previous dryer: permanent press can’t have high heat according to LG, but my old model had 3 heat settings: fluff, low/delicate, high/permanent press. It makes a rapid thumping sound when running as if a drive wheel has a flat spot, but it’s not super loud. The filter is easy to clean. As with the washer, you really should get the stand. I wish the little song it plays when it’s done would have a REALLY LOUD setting, or keep playing for a longer time, as I almost never hear the thing.

    I did a fair amount of research before buying this dryer and I should have paid more attention to other negative reviews because I’m finding similar issues. The dryness sensor does not work – no matter what setting I use, the dryer stops and the clothes are still very damp. And it is noisy – the drum seems like it is not balanced. Unfortunately I did not act within the 30 days so now it will be a hassle to return it. No more LG products for me.

    This dryer does a great job drying clothes. It is very easy to use and is also quiet. It has a lot of settings to give you options too. I would recommend this dryer.

    For an electric dryer this one drys large loads in one permanent press cycle of about 40 minutes. Good signals and good value for the money!

    I love this dryer even with the quirks. It can handle a lot. But once in a while you have to reset the settings you use a lot else it takes longer to dry the clothes
