    I’ve learned that drying almost everything on delicate cycle helps reduce wrinkles and wear and tear on the clothes. Both it and the matching washer are very quiet. However, the buzzer to indicate they are finished is extremely low and not nearly obnoxious enough. i have to set a timer in the other part of the house to know when they’re done.

    Excellent construction and a very solid dryer. No vibration at all and definitely the most quiet dryer I have owned to date. The steam feature is very convenient, I really like the way that you use a refillable water tank for the steam cycle, and you do not have to have an external water line. The selection of cycles is excellent and the dry sensor feature works really well, which also saves your clothes from being ‘cooked’ due to over drying.

    Just purchased my LG dryer about a month ago. Picked LG because of the good reviews. So far the dryer has been great haven’t tried the steam feature yet but will use in near future. Dried my king size comforter with no problem I won’t miss the trips to the laundromat either.

    Well worth the money. Huge capacity, quiet, and efficient. Aesthetically I am super pleased and happy I decided to pay a little extra fir the graphite color. They look really beautiful and the dryer is also very ergonomically designed. Definitely recommend to anyone on the fence.

    Ok, ok it doesn’t fold, but with all of the features it does have I think it’s just a matter of time before LG adds folding as a feature (I wish). With 14 cycles and 5 temperature settings, drying is quick and easy. Beautifully designed and easy to use controls.

    We had an issue with the first dryer it made a squeaking noise while running. We called Best Buy and they offered to replace the dryer -within 2 days we had a new dryer and the second one works great! Thanks Best Buy for your great customer service!

    So many things about this dryer are impressive. Changed from a gas dryer to this electric dryer and it dries clothes in 2/3rd the time; it’s also real quiet. The clothes are not wrinkled even on the normal cotton cycle and it can nicely steam dry a queen sized down comforter.

    Now, granted, before this purchase we were using the coin-operated ones that weren’t so good. Before that, didn’t have near the features. We haven’t used the steam function but I do like the “almost 1-touch” feature. Delicates need to be ran twice, but it’s a short cycle and my nicer fabrics don’t come out as piled. It’s easy enough to let the kids do it on their own too!

    This was a splurge purchase because of the value being an open-box item. But it turned out to be a Best Buy! There are so many drying choices. I love the delicates and freshen up choices.

    I loved this dryer until last week when a burning smell started to occur. I made sure that there was no lint buildup, which there was not. I called best buy to get someone to come out because i purchased the extended 5 year warranty, which I’m glad i did. After 2 hours of being on the phone i was told they couldn’t send someone out until the 24th of September( 10 days later). I called everyday and was able to get someone to come out yesterday. The motor is done already it needs to be replaced. I am so mad i have not even finished paying this off yet.i have owned LG washers and Dryers in the past never had a problem until now. The dryer is great until it broke I’m more annoyed with how best buy and the warranty company handled this situation.

    Brought this dryer and washer as we wanted to upgrade from our old and trusted Kenmore which was working even after almost 10 years of servicing us dry our laundry.

    Brought the 5680V dryer from best buy, Fargo ND and it worked fine for about 1 1/2 year and then it stopped. We turned on the dryer to wash a load and the Dashboard display showed drying,…however the drum refused to rotate. I then tried using their LG Diagnostic service app to identify the problem and the app suggested no issues. After doing a lot of research online to find the fault called LG Customer service. After providing all the information they provided me with contact details of a service center Home Make Villa in Moorhead, MN. On contacting them the next day the service center said that they do not service LG as they have not received approval from LG for servicing LG appliances. Funny how LG website shows they are the authorized service center and when contacted the service center they refused to service the product..

    Contacted LG customer service again and told them about the problem with the service center they provided. The rep still insisted that they are the approved providers.

    I had to finally look for other service providers to fix the problem……

    Decided never again will I buy a LG product….!
