I was missing some parts to set up the vent part, and it wasn’t long enough to put in my window. The plug is also relatively short only about four feet or so. Overall I would recommend it, but next time I would like to go for the next model up. While the wifi model you’re paying for the technology I would hope that it would also be more efficient. Decent for the price, and competitive in features

Bought it early to prepare for the hot summer, used it recently and it wasn’t performing on the expected level. It doesn’t cool down a room (less than 350 sq ft) quick as you need to point the tube outside from the window (and the hot air comes in since the plastic mount has some gaps from the window).
It feels cool if you stand right above it though. However, it is not what I was looking for in a portable AC.

My central air was down and it would be 3 weeks before the tech could come fix it. This air conditioner was the solution! Worked beautifully and kept us cool during some high temperatures.
It will now be used in my sewing room so i can quilt and craft in comfort.

This Portable AC Unit works great for cooling a small room. It is noisy, but is very efficient. The only problem is that on the Best Buy website it is listed as covering 350 Square Feet, however the exact model number only covers 300 Square Feet according to LG.

AC works great. My only complaint is that I have a standard dryer vent in my house and the exhaust hose on the AC is a different size.

A Pro: Not difficult to set up; Able to install on a horizontal sliding window; No extra tools/materials needed. Simple to operate; Can bring down 10-degree temperature within an hour.
Cons: Two fan settings (low or high); Low fan setting about 55-57 decibels loud compared to 52 decibels advertised. 60-62 decibels on the high fan setting. Mislabeling Info regarding room size recommendations for this model. the Best Buy advertised it can cool room up 350sq ft but the description and the retail box says 300 sq ft.; Its very heavy to carry

Im very pleased with my portable LG A/C unit. Our central unit was recalled we found out recently in 2016? The refrigerant banned by EPA and we were never notified and still had active extended warranty. Rheem never returned my call/ignored all my emails. So instead of paying almost $10000.00 I opted to purchase 2 more window units and this portable unit. It cools very quickly. Has low and high. Swing feature for directional setting. Fan. Alert button lights to notify of needing filter cleaned either with vacumn hose or clean with water. Must dry before reinserting. Swing feature for flow direction. Very nice remote. Mode button and Timer button also. Nice looking unit. Easy to assemble and has vent hose to vent through window. Weather stripping included. Would recommend.

It’s okay. It does cool down the air but it works better in a smaller room. You can’t really tell the difference in a mid to big size room.

I’d say my only gripe with this machine is the hose, it stays in place 95% of the time but sometimes rolling it around it falls off. Not a big deal just something worth noting. Once locked in place it does hold. Definitely helps Cool the Garage down on those hot summer days.

Not sure why this is advertised as 350 sq ft since it clearly says on the outside of the box that it’s 300 (Best Buy’s fault, not the manufacturer). I bought it for my basement and the hose provided isn’t quite long enough to reach the window for venting hot air. I’m a bit disappointed with how the unit performs. It cools the room down, just not as much as I had hoped.

Great product! Easy to set up and works with larger windows. Its cooling works great and makes it very pleasant to sleep on those hot nights! Its high speed is a bit loud, but the lower speed isn’t too bad and sounds like white noise in the background. Would definitely recommend!

It provides great cool air for a decent size bedroom. In a dry area like Utah you dont have to worry about the unit leaking water everywhere. Its very nice not to have to drain the AC every so often so it doesnt flood your room.
