- QuadWash
LG’s exclusive QuadWash technology gets dishes clean the first time. With four spray arms instead of just two, QuadWash uses Multi-Motion arms that rotate back and forth while spinning to power-clean dishes from multiple angles throughout the entire cycle. - TrueSteam with Sanitization
LG TrueSteam uses the power of steam to penetrate food residue and help eliminate water spots by up to 60%.¹ - LG dishwashers are certified by the National Sanitization Foundation to reduce bacteria on dishes by 99.999% and reach a final rinse temperature greater than 150°F when operated on the Steam cycle.²
- ThinQ Care
Keep your appliances running smoothly with ThinQ Care, now in the ThinQ app. Get notifications about usage, maintenance, plus early diagnosis right on your phone. ThinQ Care will help you understand your appliance needs, avoid potential problems, and keep your appliance running its best. - Dynamic Dry Enhanced with TrueSteam
Creating a dynamic table begins with sparkling dishes and glassware—the kind only Dynamic Dry enhanced with TrueSteam can deliver. From thoroughly drying dishes to eliminating water spots from wine glasses, you can throw in the towel and stop drying by hand. - Four powerful steam jets on the door, plus additional jets on the top and bottom, super-heat the interior for drier dishes.
- Height Adjustable 3rd Rack
Use the handy slider to adjust the 3rd rack height to make room for taller items at the last minute. Not only can you save time and wash fewer loads, it’s also a convenient spot for hard-to-fit items like flatware, long-handled utensils or small espresso cups. - Glide Rail and Ball-bearing Wheel Design
Why waste time fighting a dishwasher rack that goes off track, especially when you’re in a hurry? The lower rack’s ball-bearing wheel design rolls out effortlessly—even when loaded with heavy pots and pans. - PrintProof Finish
PrintProof finish resists fingerprints and smudges to keep your kitchen looking its best. You can have all of the things you love about stainless steel appliances – premium look, professional-grade durability—without special cleaners or constant attention. - LoDecibel Operation (44 dB)
Now you can run the dishwasher day or night. The 44dB cleaning cycle is whisper-quiet, so you won’t have to worry about interrupting post-dinner-party conversations or naps. Especially important for open floor plans where sound readily travels. - Dual Zone
LG Dual Zone technology varies the water intensity in the upper and lower racks. Delicate dishes in the upper rack have a softer setting while pots and pans in the lower are washed with stronger intensity. You can accommodate different items in the same load for added convenience. - Half Wash Mode
Want clean dishes, but don’t want to wait for a full load? This feature saves water and energy by letting you wash only items in either the lower or upper rack. - Auto Cycle
With LG Auto Cycle, you have one less thing to think about. This feature automatically senses the level of dirt on your dishes and sets the wash cycle, so your dishes get optimal cleaning every time. - 15 Place-Setting Capacity
The spacious, stainless steel interior provides ample space for lots of dishes and stemware, in a variety of sizes. Fit up to 15 place-settings of dishes. - Top Control Panel With LED Display
Top controls with LED display are easy to see and use when the dishwasher door is open but hidden from view when the door is closed, for a seamless look that’s also easy to clean. - 3-Stage Filter System
LG’s advanced filtration system is tough on food residue and dirty dishes even if you don’t pre-wash. Plus, its advanced design makes it extremely efficient and quiet. - Hybrid Condensing Drying System
Innovate beyond a traditional heating element. This LG dishwasher combines heat generated during the final rinse with the cooler walls of the stainless steel tub to turn moist air into water droplets that simply drain away. - Dishes are dry and ready to unload without using extra energy or extending drying cycles, plus your plastic utensils and containers are safe from heat and harm.
- ThinQ Technology
With its ThinQ technology, you may just wonder if this dishwasher is almost as smart as you. Stay connected with features like Smart Access and Smart Adapt, which allow you to monitor your dishwasher remotely and download new and improved cycles. - In the unlikely event that you have any problems, Smart Diagnosis helps you troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently.
- ENERGY STAR rated
Among the most energy-efficient dishwashers in its class. - 10-Year Warranty on Inverter Direct Drive Motor
LG’s efficient Inverter Direct Drive motor has fewer moving parts and no belts for powerful cleaning that uses less energy and saves you money. It performs so reliably it’s backed by a 10-year limited warranty for added peace of mind. - Required for Installation
All dishwasher purchases require a dishwasher hookup kit be purchased from Best Buy. Without a hookup kit, your installation will not be completed. Find a hookup kit in the accessories section on this page. - ¹Percent in water spot reduction compared to comparable LG non-steam dishwasher on delicate wash cycle. Results may vary by model. Results based on test with LG LDF7774ST as of Feb. 2018.

JF12345 –
I picked this dishwasher because of how fast it could be delivered. Turns out to be the best dishwasher we have ever had. I replaced a 5 year old Samsung. This is so much better and quiter
Maryam –
Super quiet and efficient. We especially like the steam feature and it cleans everything super well and leaves things sanitized as well for our kids.
Lorne –
This is a nice unit, the 3 racks are very usable, its quiet, easy controls for a senior figure out. The price was a deciding factor over other units, there were others that were cheaper, we gave the edge to LG, we have had very good luck with LG. Everything we needed was in the box, no runs to the hardware store. Always a bonus.
Review –
I hadn’t owned a dishwasher in about 10 years. This was a huge step up from the last dishwasher I had. Easy connectivity through the LG app to notify you of any needed maintenance/cleaning. No need to rinse dishes off before running a cycle. The machine takes care of all of it. Totaltech took care of the installation.
ChrisC –
This is my 2nd LG dishwasher, and I am very satisfied with the way it performs. The dishes come out clean even when using the Turbo/Quick wash setting. This dishwasher if very quiet as well.
CockatooMom –
Good dishwasher, super quiet. Only drawback was something is wrong with heating element as nothing dried for me. Ended up selecting a different dishwasher….only to be delivered end of January
IreneB –
Very efficient and extremely quiet. Cleans well . enjoy using
Stacy –
Love my new LG dishwasher, it’s incredibly quiet and extremely powerful. I highly recommend this dishwasher!
RobertC –
Been using this dishwasher for about a month now , very good quality , very quiet so quiet i had to open the door a few times to see if it was actually running , cleans dishes very well and the look brightened up my kitchen . i am very pleased with this dishwasher , it also has many cleaning options in which you can add and customize through an app on your phone ….yes the dishwasher has wifi !
EricaHR –
Very sleek looking and QUIET. Cleans well. Third rack makes the “top” rack not very tall. In some ways I like it for some items. The jury is still out. The fold-down dish supports on the bottom rack tend to fold themselves down. The controls are not as intuitive as I like, and it’s not clear how to restart a cycle if you interrupt it in the middle. Overall, I’m happy with the dishwasher and would buy it again. Just a few things to adjust to.

Dishwasher is very loud. If you are in the kitchen while it is running and trying to have a conversation you will notice you have to elevate your voice to talk. Our dishes are not dry when we open the door. Disappointed.
David –
We bought this LG dishwasher along with an LG range and above-range convection microwave.
This dishwasher replaced an older KitchenAid that came with our house.
We’ve generally been very happy with this dishwasher. It’s quiet and it does a very good job cleaning dishes. The layout of the trays allows for you to put items into the dishwasher in the most optimum arrangement.
It’d be nice if the plastics dried better, but no dishwasher I’ve encountered does a good job drying plastics. I also wish there were a couple other options for cycles.
One thing I noticed is that you can completely lower all the dividers on the bottom tray, but on the upper tray, you can only lower half of the dividers. I’m not sure if other LG dishwashers allow you to lower all the dividers on the upper tray, but that’s definitely something that would have been welcomed here.
There’s a third tray that sits at the top of the dishwasher that has proved very useful for various items, such as knives and the parts from a French press coffeemaker.
My biggest complaint about this range is that the upper tray must be fully pushed in, otherwise the front door will not close fully. Even though the door doesn’t close fully, the dishwasher can still run. In this situation, water will escape through the top through the opening between the door and the dishwasher’s frame.
This happened the first few times we used the dishwasher. We were actually fairly frustrated with that situation, especially given the amount of trouble the old dishwasher had given us. It was only upon further inspection that you have to fully push in the upper tray in order for the door to fully close and seal.
The best layperson comparison I can make for how that top tray rolls in is that it’s similar to some drawer sliders you might encounter on furniture, where you roll the drawer “closed,” but you need to physically push the drawer in for that last little bit. Upon doing so, you encounter a positive “click” that you can both feel and see as you close the drawer.
It’s the same thing here. The top tray “clicks” into a bracket on the inner back wall of the dishwasher. If you do not click the top tray into that, it’s not fully rolled in, and thus the door will not fully seal.
Why this is like this, I have no idea. I can’t say I’ve encountered this on other past dishwashers, but we didn’t look around at many others when buying this one for comparison purposes. It’s really not a huge deal since we’re used to it now, but this is an appliance that should be fully intuitive and easy-to-use. It generally is, but I can certainly see a situation where someone who doesn’t live in the house or a child starts up a dishwasher cycle, not understanding that you have to fully push in that tray. You’ll then be encountered with water all over your floor.
The fact that the dishwasher’s door sensor still considers the door “closed” in this situation is also somewhat puzzling. I assume that the sensor is associated with the latch, since the door can still latch, even if the door isn’t fully sealed.
Other than that issue, we are generally happy with this. It would be a five-star review if that top tray wasn’t temperamental.
RonW –
poor draining, smells rancid now, doesn’t dry well
AlaskaDad –
EXTREMELY HAPPY with this dishwasher. It was a major upgrade from our previous and it’s been a night and day transition. Quiet and very adaptable with moving trays.
Augustine –
LG dishwasher S/S is very sleek and beautiful. Very quiet. Does outstanding job cleaning dishes.
PhillipW –
I remodeled my kitchen last year and wanted to upgrade my appliances also. I did thorough research and decided on LG. This Particular dishwasher checks all of the boxes for my needs and then some. It is extremely quiet. Love paring my usage with the LG ThinQ app. Highly recommend this one!
Oldfolkslivinthedream –
Quiet and clean dishes. What more can you ask for.

paulie –
This dishwasher is very quiet. It does a great job cleaning the dishes. We love the third rack.
HaywoodYaKnowMe –
Good ditwasher. Me wife like folding shelves and it’s quiet. We tried to get a Bosch but our installer dude said the LG’s were working pretty good with no maintenance issues.
BelindaL –

Great, quiet dishwasher. Really like the small top shelf.
Ramey –
This is by far the best dishwasher I’ve ever had. LG makes great products. This thing is super quiet and has tons of features to fit all your weird dishes.
MunaA –
It’s great dishwasher quite no sounds while running on
JacobN –
We have purchased but not sure how It world as the previous one is not good but this one Works great . Recommended
ryoung –
Within a week the finish on the control panel started rubbing off and the control panel cracked. Now the wash motor has gone bad. Avoid this garbage, do not buy it. It’s also not nearly as quiet as advertised. This will be the last LG product I ever buy.
BestBuyCustomer –
Very quiet and turbo washing machine and make it easy.
MichaelM –
Cleans better than our old Maytag, and runs quieter
SrinivasS –
Item is sturdy, having ample space & options to adjust the space & very good Quality. Fairly priced item. Very Happy with the product.
JosephM –
So far so good, gets water really hot so don’t put thin plastics in
Nita –
Pretty quiet. rollers keep popping off and it isn’t easy to see the amount of time left on the load, as it’s hidden under the counter. Doesn’t clean properly either.
SkyhawkOne –
Since we first got this LG dishwasher, it has had a problem with the door not shutting all the way, even though the machine thinks it is closed!
It seems like the door is warped, leaking steam from the top left when it’s running, and the steam has not damaged our cabinet framing. We are really unhappy with this dishwasher, and we would not recommend this to anyone.
Hadi –
We love this dishwasher. The steam sanitization option is great for the baby bottles. It’s quite and does a great job on glasses. We love the third row as well.
GreatTaxMom –
Very dissatisfied with this dishwasher! Here’s why: -does not clean dishes well. – dishes are ALWAYS wet after completed cycle – cycles are ridiculously long, some more than 3 hours! I have TWO Frigidaire dishwashers in other locations, and wish I had bought that brand instead of LG!
SPMReviews –
Loud – not as well made as other higher end brands
Baldheady –
Not bad dish washer. It is quiet. Not as good as the kitchenAid I bought for my other house, but did not cost as much either
Ldawg14 –
Don’t waste your money like we did. I wish we would’ve seen the reviews in advanced about the mother board and cracking, see pictures. It’s been 14 months since purchase, washer exterior cracked last night during cycle, based on other experiences it’s only a matter of time when we get error code and dishwasher no longer works. $1,000 purchase gets a little over year of use.
TimothyK –
I’ve had my LG dishwasher for a couple of months now and I am extremely pleased. It is so quiet and the dishes come out very clean. Love the little tune it plays to alert you the dishes are done.
Ahsan –
After 13 months of using it it’s still working like charm and now today I make another purchase from Best Buy a 65” Qled tv for a very reasonable price
Jasmine –
Best dishwasher you can dream off , the steam power and the water model make it a different cleaning level
BrandiW –
The pump motor went out after about 2years. It is covered under warranty however service and labor is not. There are very few service people in my area that are willing to work on an LG dishwasher that is covered under warranty. I reached out to LG for a list of service providers and the closest one is over an hour away and I’m in a metro area, Indianapolis. The one I did find estimates service to cost $400, which is not covered.
PhilipCorliss –
The machine works well enough. After 3-years of use one of our dishwasher racks is starting to rust and the pump motor started to fail.
Supposedly there’s a 10-year-warranty on the “direct drive motor.” However when you call customer support you’ll receive conflicting information on which part is actually under warranty. The labor on diagnosis and replacement would have cost 3x the cost of the new part so I ordered and replaced it myself at my own cost.
While trying to get LG to honor the warranty I called customer support 5-6 times. Each time I got directed to a different number or told I would receive a callback within 48 hours.
It’s been a week and I’m still waiting for a call back. They must have lost my number or something.
ShannonE –
Dishwasher holds all the dishes from the day for a 4 person house hold. Cleans perfectly and is very quite operation.
GeVi –
Bottom rack rusted after ~1 year of use. Upper rack rusted after ~2 years of use. Both were replaced by LG as we are still within warranty but this should not be happening in the first place. Latch also, at times, opens in the middle of the cycle and will not complete the dishwashing cycle. Would have been a good dishwasher without all these problems.
MzIndp –
Excellent Dishwasher, Beautiful and Classy!!!!!!!!
Unknown –
Very quite, dishes come out clean like they should
Hill –
It looks nice & has nice options but the cleaning power is not what I thought it would be. I’m still having to watch dishes more than once or hand wash them after they go through the machine.
