    Moves lots of air and I like to use low speed. Could be quieter. I like the round base because it seems steady. Remote is very handy.

    I have had this fan since 2009 and its still going strong. Best features are timer and the disassembly for easy cleaning. Mine snaps fine and height come above bed, fan moves a lot of air even on low setting. Remote not used or needed but also a plus. Looking today to purchase a second one, now a Lasko only customer.

    I recently purchased this fan for my bedroom..to reduce the constant use of my air conditioner. Its remarkably efficient.. I like the fact that I can tilt it further back.. Extendable height is a plus. And with a remote..I don’t have to get up at night to turn it off when the temp drops. Ive owned it for almost 2months and I’ve used it every night. It’s somewhat loud on the highest fan speed but not too loud to watch tv. Anyways, it’s a good buy and I’m loving it : )

    Okay, I read the reviews before buying this thing, and thought people were just being petty. I’m not generally a superficial person, and I just wanted a fan to keep me cool in the summer. So when I saw people complaining that this was “tacky” and “all plastic” I thought, whatever, who cares if it’s plastic? Not me.

    However, when it arrived, holyyyyyyy. I had a pretty standard pedestal fan before this that broke after a couple of years, that I feel is the normal size of every other pedestal fan I’ve ever owned. This thing, though…. the base is this giant MOUND of bulky weird plastic that is 4x the size of my old fans (not sure why the base had to be so much larger than the rest of the fan) and the overall fan itself was pretty much at least 2x the size of a normal pedestal fan. It made the fan stand out like crazy, and accentuated the fact that it REALLY IS so tacky and cheap looking! For spending this much money on a fan, it looks like one of those ancient ones a great grandmother on welfare still has in her house.

    It seemed strong, but I had to return, it was just so hideous and so massive that it couldn’t really oscillate anywhere..

    I put together this fan rather easily, in less than 10 minutes. I love the way it looks, the way cools but it is a little loud. Also, the base of the fan is rather large, and it is not secured onto the top part of the fan. If you need to move it, you will need to scoot from the bottom or move it in two pieces. Other than that, it works great.

    Its great to have a fan that has a remote so you don’t have to get out of the bed in the middle of the night to adjust the speed or, turn on or off. Its pretty powerful as well, which is great. Not to noise either.

    Overpriced for the quality. Very powerful, would be better in a larger area for use during the day. Definitely not a good fan for use at night due to noise and rattling.

    The quality is not as good as the last purchased of the Lasko fan. the materials used is the product is a much lower standard . It is a good running fan but very disappointed in the craftmanship.

    I bought two of these Lasko fans best fans ever. I already had two Lasko fans they are the best fans I have owned. Best part comes with remote with three different times you can set for will automatically shut off with three speeds. Five blades put out good quality air. really easy putting together easy to clean. I will always choose this brand. Best buy is the only place I have seen with remote on these fans. Besides great price
